SUICIDE SQUAD: Jared Leto Bids Farewell To 'The Joker' In Drastic Fashion

Jared Leto has been teasing us with glimpses of his take on The Joker since long before that controversial first image was released, and with principal photography on Suicide Squad coming to an end, the Oscar winning actor has moved on from the role in a drastic way...

Jared Leto cut his long hair to play The Joker in David Ayer's Suicide Squad, and it now appears as if he's shedding what's left of it following the recent conclusion of principal photography. This seems like a drastic move, but bear in mind that the actor has been walking around with his hair permanently dyed green for the past few months, so it's hard to blame him for wanting to make a change! Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016. Are you looking forward to seeing Task Force X in action?

Goodbye...🌵🍀🌴🍃🐍🐸🍏💚

I hope they kill him off in Suicide Squad. Make some room for Killer Moth to be the big figure-head in the second installment.

Joker is Old Robin right? Does that mean Heath could still be the legendary first Joker?

Welllllllllllll,

I don't know about you all but I'd hate for the Joker to get liked off in Suicide Squad. Killing off villIains these days makes it more conflicting for them to come back, unless they're a robot or mutated being the odds are less likely that the context of how they return would even make sense. Then again, there have been many villains who have also faked their deaths so I could see something like that happening. But I really want to see the new Joker killed off in his first appearance. lol ?

I'll wait to see the performance before I pray that he comes back, but so far, the indications are good. I like the look, I liked what I saw in the teaser, and...it's Jared [frick]ing Leto. The guy could act in anything.

And he's a damn fine singer. If anyone hasn't seen this little short film with their song "From Yesterday", watch it. It's pretty cool.

What? How did you come to that? I'm genuinely curious.

Given how Margot Robbie signed a multipicture deal, Leto will return as Joker.

He's gonna kill it as Joker. Love the Berjemo influence.

Why do people think Joker is being killed off? There will likely be 2-3 years between the next film that includes the character and I don't foresee Leto biding his time for that long while wearing the green hair.

Doubt Joker would get killed off in a SS movie... Maybe a Batman movie, but not SS... I see them killing off Killer Croc.

Jared Leto is an incredible actor, director, Song-writer, singer, musician and producer. He will be the most psycho Joker we've had yet.
Even if they 'kill him off' in this film -- they could bring him back in future films (where they're set before Suicide Squad)....
Can't wait to see this film.

He'll be back. It's The Joker he has to at least encounter Batman in a Batman solo film once

Too bad he didn't say goodbye before he took the part. Worst Joker ever.

Ayer loves killing off his characters. He probably took this movie because they told him he can kill 75% of the villains.

Leto says on an interview previous to be announced as The Joker he was thinking in accepting a role which gonna take 10-15 years on his life, so yeah we got Joker for atleast 2 more movies.

Let's look at Suicide Squad Joker. Played by critically acclaimed actor?

Check.

Ace Chemicals origin?

Check.

Harley Quinn?

Check.

Lee Berjemo influence?

Check.

Arkham involvement?

Check.

White suit?

Check.

This isn't like TASM2's Kid Goblin that is probably the worst comic book movie villain of all time and was [frick]ing stupid all around.

No way they kill him off, yet. I bet he's not even in this movie as much as everyone thinks, and is probably setting his character up for future installments

I still think you guys give Leto too much credit as an actor, he's overated... Ill wait till the movie comes out to say he can't play a good Joker, but I will say it helps that Heath Ledgers Joker is so liked and I can see Leto trying to use the Heath voice in the trailer.
