ARROW Season 4, Episode 6 Description; "Lost Souls" - 'Ray Palmer' Returns From The Dead

That's right, we're getting another resurrection in the sixth episode of Arrow's fourth season...well, sort of! The description for "Lost Souls" reveals where exactly Ray Palmer/The Atom has been all these months, and you'll never believe who's joined Team Arrow...

RAY PALMER RETURNS FROM THE DEAD — Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is frantic when she learns that Ray (guest star Brandon Routh) is alive and being held by Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). Felicity’s guilt over not finding Ray sooner causes tension between her and Oliver (Stephen Amell). Meanwhile, Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) joins Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Thea (Willa Holland) and the team on a rescue mission for Ray. However, the effects of the Lazarus Pit take over and threaten to jeopardize the entire operation. Donna Smoak (guest star Charlotte Ross) returns to Star City. Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Emilio Ortega Aldrich.

This sounds like a huge episode, with major developments for both Ray Palmer and Sara Lance. Most of us assumed that The Atom shrunk in that explosion at the end of season three of Arrow, so how exactly he got into Damien Darhk's hands promises to be very interesting indeed. Thoughts?

I agree last season was solid, I think people were on a Deathstroke high and wanted him back!

Is it it just me or does this season seem like another huge step down, even from season 3?

-Bad guy and his army threaten the city plot for the 4th time
-Acting seems all-around worse
-Direction and action sequences seem all-around worse (especially compared to Flash); this is some AOS level shit
-Boring character dynamics and arcs
-Flashbacks continue to be tedious
-Not living up to the promise of a "true" Green Arrow show; same stuff from previous seasons, little to no change

The show just seems so dull now.

Awesome, I was hoping we'd get to see Ray really tiny on the floor at Palmer Technologies, but at least we get to see him before the crossover episode.

Darhk has palmer? How the heck did he get him? Even better how in the heck did he even see him? Probadly got him trapped in a petri dish like in TDKR comic. lol

It was inevitable. Legends of tomorrow has to happen somehow.

I'm presuming its Ray trapped inside Felicity's phone.
Also I'm thinking there really IS a wise "Sage" in the mountains of Nanda Parbat who knows how to cure the pit-rage. And I'm guessing that he speaks in questions.

My girlfriend is a season behind on Arrow, so I am re-watching season 3 with her on Netflix. I'm enjoying it even more the second time around.

At first I myself was disappointed with season 3. Wasn't as bad as those here make it out to be, but definitely let me down, at the time. Just finished re-watching all of season 3 again & I don't find it as bad as I originally did. Still not happy with the directions some things went, but definitely not that bad a season
