While she may have been seen lining up with the rest of Task Force X in that official Suicide Squad cast image, we still don't know whether or not Cara Delevingne's Enchantress will be part of the team or the threat they assemble to take down. The latest issue of Empire sadly doesn't shed any light on that, but the model turned actress did have this to say about her role as Julie Moon in the highly anticipated 2016 release from director David Ayer. "June is an adventure seeker who's always wanted some excitement," she explains. "And she gets what she wished for, but in a terrible way. At the start of the movie she discovers a cavern and finds...something...within."
That "something" is going to be Enchantress, and it sounds like Julie will become possessed by that magical entity. "She's an ancient sorceress. A feral being. She's been trapped for so long and know she's finally let out." That means Delevingne is going to end up playing two very different characters, so how did she go about differentiating them? "I'd gather the accent, which is deeper and posher than June's. And I'd last Nick Cave's Red Right Hand, that song about the devil. Also a lot of Megadeth. Just evil stuff." That sounds very intriguing, and the fact that Suicide Squad is introducing a character like this obviously helps to open the door to the likes of Justice League Dark and Shazam! What do you think?
