Odeon Cinemas is one of the UK's biggest cinema chains, and a new synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has surfaced on the site today. Is this something official or one that they've made up themselves? That we don't know, but it's hard to imagine they would pluck that new titbit of information in regards to Lex Luthor manipulating both Batman and Superman out of thin air. Could it be that the villain is the one responsible for them going to war with each other?

At long last, see Batman and Superman square off against each other in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice', an epic superhero showdown which will change both their lives forever.

Clark Kent doesn't trust Gotham's mysterious masked vigilante. Bruce Wayne doesn't trust the alien who nearly destroyed Metropolis. And Lex Luthor, who hates Superman more than anyone, is manipulating both of them for his own twisted ends.

Choose your side: the Man of Steel or the Dark Knight? Learn the answer to the age-old question - who would win? - in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice'.

So, what's the verdict? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the usual place.

Starring Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman. Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to open in theaters on March 25th, 2016.

My treatment for the film is pretty accurate, thus far.
-It starts with Bruce in Metropolis during the World Engine incident.
-Lex manipulates them.

However, in my other treatment, which was written separate from Man of Steel, Lex would have posed as an ally to Superman and would have manipulated him into saving various parts of the world and cities, but would have made it look like Superman was committing war crimes, calling him to Batman's attention.

Also, in my treatment, Lex would have shaved his head bald to make it seem like he got an illness from being around Superman too long, making Superman seem as a threat to everyone around him.

I think this is the first time they confirmed it

But, I need to start avoiding spoilers, I kind of don't even want to see another trailer because I am already sold

Why doesn't Superman trust Batman atm? Is there a real valid reason yet that they have explained or do we have to wait until the movie?

Unfortunately, the average person doesn't follow these films or know anything about how long it takes to make movies.

The result of this is that the average person will probably think Marvel is copying BvS with Civil War.

Both will be epic films (aren't we lucky?) but I think you'll hear many an ignorant statements around the proverbial water cooler.

@XelCorp
I think it's because Batman has been extremely brutal to how he fights crime, which is why, in the trailer, it's revealed that Clark has been doing stories on Batman's crusade. Batman's new attitude to how he solves crime could be because of what happened during the World Engine incident. In the first trailer, the Batplane bombed and shot up a bunch of criminals, so Lex may be behind that. Overall, Superman doesn't condone Batman's method of crime fighting.

@XelCorp clark says he's a one man reign of terror......it must be obvious Batman stops criminals. I guess Supes doesn't like the way he does it????? Which is....idk weird. I'm assuming this bats doesn't kill so what's not to like....his methods are extreme but, he's been getting the job done since Supes was going through puberty lol. Seems likes Clark just wants to gain the publics respect by brinigjng down what he thinks is a wild vigilante/urban legend (urban legend thing is dum). Superman needs to respect the old school
