I like Greg Pak. I liked his Hulk run and his current Action Comics run...

But I don't like this direction. Hulk just isn't a legacy character like Cap or Batman or Spider-Man or Flash or Wolverine or like Superman can be.

Hulk without Banner isn't interesting. Its just not and we know Banner will be back as Hulk in time for Thor 3.

I don't think they bothered to look up the meaning of "awesome" cause this sure isn't it! I like Frank Cho's Art, but this book is lame.

This is as insulting to the Hulk mythos as Hulk and the Agents of SMASH.

Meh, I have no right to complain since I stopped buying Marvel shortly after secret invasion. I will just say that I have questioned my decision in the past but everything from Battle World makes me confident that it was the right choice.

Changes happen all the time in comics. Some good, some not so good. Just have to weather the storm when you don't like what's going on. Hoping for better days.

I had to drop Aquaman. Same with Superman and Wonder Woman.
Now looks like I might pick up Aquaman again, as Johns is getting ready to return.
Thor is really draggin on with the original Sin reveal but I haven't dropped it because Aaron still writes some good sh*t.
Waiting to see how the new X-Men status quo develops before deciding which books I should pick up.
Sometimes you just gotta have patience.

And for like the 5th time in 18 years, Marvel takes a crap on the Hulk character and Hulk readers. I read this book steady from 1984 till about 1998 when they unceremoniously fired Peter David from the title after 11 years. Since then, it's been numerous insults, even Planet Hulk and especially World war Hulk were mixed blessings. Even in the 4 films we seen, they don't have a grasp of the character (like having him talk). It sucks so bad that Marvel just seems to be having a contest with DC to drive away long time traditional readers with stupid character revisions and nonsense. Yuck.

They lost me just with the "The Totally Awesome" thing, sounds like a 90's kids fanfiction, and with just seen The Hulk with this "Totally Awesome" attitude it gave one the biggest "MEH" in my life.

Not totally awesome buying this.

for some reason the leadership at marvel thinks comics should be funny like the old archie comics. just another book i will not buy. most of marvel's comics are starting to really suck.

I had high hopes for this

But the concept that I had in my head for Cho/Hulk, obviously isn't the concept that Marvel had in their head....

Maybe it'll get better once they get off the beach?

Thank f*ck for back issues! The last great Hulk story was World War Hulk,Mark Waid wrote some good Hulk comics recently but apart from that Marvel is ruining my favorite character.

Wow, they totally ruined the Hulk. But this is Marvel, so I'm not at all surprised.

@ManCalledSting

I completely agree.

This is another move to needlessly diversify rather than create new and meaningful characters. Hulk is Banner. Banner is Hulk. Clean things up and get rid of all the others save Jen.

It shows a real lack of creativity a la all the changes: Iceman, She-Thor, American Eagle (Falcon), etc.
