There are loads of rumours doing the rounds about characters like Batgirl appearing in Batman v Superman and Black Canary showing up in Justice League, and regardless of how many of those pan out, it's clear that Warner Bros. are building the ranks of their Cinematic Universe up very quickly. With Will Smith set to take on a leading role in Suicide Squad next year, it should come as no surprise to learn that he too is set to make his presence felt outside of that franchise. According to Latino-Review, he's keen to be a big part of the studio's plans moving forward, and that could include an appearance in The Batman. In fact, they add that "If Deadshot joins the Bat in the movie, it will be for a "major role" for a "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" scenario." Having these two team-up will be very interesting, and the Caped Crusader may just need all the help he can get with the Red Hood and The Joker setting their sights on Gotham City. What do you think?

Team-ups are the new "solo". The Winter Soldier paved the way and it works creatively and definitely bumps up the potential box office gross.

IT WORKS!

Batman and Deadshot team up????

Translation: Will wants to be a hero even though he's truly Batman's advesary...HE NEEDS TO BE A HERO IN EVERYTHING. He needs to be significant in every film he does. Craves spotlight lol

say what you will about Will Smith, eventhough his past few movies bombed in the BO, he still has the name and the charisma to carry a movie, most especially if he's in a supporting role, not the lead.. I couldn't be more excited about this, hopefully this will pan out.

@ck1986 I mean, he turned down Django because he wasn't the main character in his eyes (which is ludicrous). Then again, he's doing Suicide Squad, an ensemble in nature, but I'm afraid it'll be Deadshot/Harley/Joker focused.

Awesome.

I can't wait to see all of them on screen in Suicide Squad, that's really going to give us a better idea of how all of this will work

Notice how no one gave a shiznit when Will Smith was cast as Deadshot. The Human torch on the other hand caused many in the White geekdom to lose their collective minds.
