VIDEO GAMES: WB Confirm That ARKHAM WORLD Tease At VGA's Was Just "Good Fun"

When The Joker accepted the award for "Character Of The Year" at the VGA's last weekend (which you can watch here) he seemed to reveal the title of the next Batman game from Rocksteady. Well, not so according to the studio.

During The Joker's acceptance speech at Spike TV's Video Game Awards on Saturday, the appearance of a script entitled "Arkham World" resulted in many jumping to the conclusion that that would be the title of the next game. Well, VG 24/7 reveal that Warner Bros. today issued a statement to them making it clear that it was indeed nothing more than a joke: "What was referenced in the acceptance was added in good fun only." Here's the clip of the Joker (voiced brilliantly by Mark Hamill) which caused so much excitement.
