WOW! So the epic battle of TDKR vs. The Avengers is now being judged by trailer downloads. Can't wait to see the pathetic fanboy war that's about to start.

No surprise there. The Avengers doesn't have a new trailer out like TDKR yet, so of course it won't have as many viewers.

I personally preferred the Avengers trailer, but the TDKR one is epic as well.

Um...doesn't really matter, eh? Both will make 2012 an unforgettable year. 'Nuff said.

plus i think the larger numbers are due to those dumbasses who couldnt tell what Bane was saying and had to download it over and over again to decipher him.

I don't get why everyone is the Avengers vs the Dark Knight Rises. They're both two very different comic book movies, that are both going to do well. Most people will probably see both, I know I will. Can't we all just unite under the extremely awesome Comic Book Movie summer that is the Summer of 2012.

@TheIrishAvenger

It's true, though. If The Avengers were to release a new trailer then it would make sense to compare it with the new TDKR one. Doesn't seem fair to judge like that when you consider the first TDKR trailer.. Unless that one had more viewers than The Avengers trailer as well.

I'm rooting for all three movies to succeed but this is simply going by the trailers alone. I have a feeling that the new ASM trailer is going to topple TDKR trailer in viewings when it releases. The Avengers will most likely take top place later on when they show their trailer.

NerdyGeek
NerdyGeek - 12/23/2011, 10:44 AM
It wouldn't be an Avengers v. TDKR article if there isn't a pointless poll that is just there to start a fanboy "war". :)
MoonDoggyX
MoonDoggyX - 12/23/2011, 10:46 AM
I'm gonna be in line opening night for both movies, but I give this battle to TDKR by a hair. Both trailers could have been better though. Avengers focuses a little too much on Iron Man and TDKR didn't focus on anythin log enough to give us a clue as to what the frack is going on(though I'm sute that was on purpose). Honestly, the best trailer I've seen tately was Wrath of the Titans! It looks to have transformers-level action...

Off subject: Any one see the trailer for Battleship...? It has recycled audio and visual effects from Transformers... lol
NerdyGeek
NerdyGeek - 12/23/2011, 10:47 AM
@ComicsCommando Your comment doesn't make any sense. " The Avengers doesn't have a new trailer out like TDKR yet." Both films had theatrical trailers that showed tons of new footage and these numbers are based on the first 24 hours of their releases.
