Christopher Lee has the most amazing British accent ever. I could listen to him read the phonebook and it would be awesome!!

@Lordhuck; Yeah 'dude', heaven help him if he dies before he finishes a film. I'm sure he's pacing himself now - just for you. Not lifting any heavy weights. Not 'serving' Mrs Lee. Not starting any long books. I'm joking of course. But a little perspective please. (Oh, and I'm surprised he came back after Jackson's theatrical cut of the third movie - his demise happening off-screen. He was really, really pissed about that.)

Also, I would really like to see Elrond and Saruman interact in this movie.

I know it probably wouldn't make sense, but lets say Saruman comes to Elrond for help, saying something like "I'm hearing his voice.... but I do not know whose. I feel a presence of untold evil, Elrond."

And lets say Elrond just doesn't believe him. I think that'd be pretty cool.

Have you not read the story? Smaug does not show up until the end, which would mean the SECOND movie...

Its amazing how Christopher Lee and Stan Lee are the same age and yet you can clearly see that age has taken it's toll on Christopher Lee. Stan, on the other hand, runs around like he's in his 40's or 50's

Sadly, it seems that he's warning us that his season may be up soon. That's very unfortunate to say the least. I'm glad he's still able to make films at his age. I hope he'll still be around to see their releases. If you truly appreciate this mans work, you'll watch this clip in it's entirety.

@ Marvel72: He said he was turning 90 soon, so that makes him 89. He appears to be in bad shape though.

Yes, very good actor. Wish he had more of a role in ROTK as Saruman. Not my favorite character, but still. Nice to see that he's coming back in The Hobbit Pt I and II. Looking forward to seeing Smaug as well.

No need to purposefully be a jerk about it. But yes it would indeed be a shame if he passed away before he finished the role that most modern audiences will remember him for.

That's just awesome. Good for him, and any other venerable actor, who still enjoys a solid career with juicy roles and the ability to do what they love. He does, however, seem really frail and winded. I felt the same watching L. Nimoy in his final performance as Spock.
@ Bropus: At the VERY least, you WILL see Radagast the Brown, and we're supposed to be getting the entire council. As a Doctor Who fan, I'm crazy excited about Radagast; he's being portrayed by Sylvester McCoy, who was the reigning Doctor Who (7th) when the show got cancelled in '89 or '90...
