@MedinasWorks

essentially the interviewer asked Andrew if he had heard the rumor about him having a Cameo in "The Avengers" and he kings of shyly said that he "had not received that call" the interviewer said something like you better check your voice mail and they both chuckled about it... that was all

WHo says that the cameo even used andrew garfield. it could be as little as a stunt man swing by. I think it would be an amazing stunt but who knows... studios sometimes don't have the foresight to put the fans ahead of the ownership issues...

What will happen in the sequel:

- Green Goblin/Gwen Stacy story-line.
- Gwen "dies", but it turns out she fakes her death. She changes her hair color to red and name to Mary-Jane. :P

Then one day in class Pete will come in and sit in his desk, look up and there she'll be. And she'll be like....
easy a gifs Pictures, Images and Photos

Oh yeah....that's what will happen.

Having a guy swing by would only serve to step all over the new continuity being created in TASM and would be frowned on by SONY.On the other hand having Peter watch the Avengers from a school bus a few months from his date with a spider would be epic.

Get a [frick]ing teenager to play young spidey(no disrespect to this guy but still). That's the only way to show how a kid like us do what we do. And talk about the cast for Gwen(or MJ), they should put someone that the guy playing Spidey love/have a crush on instead of someone that is "hot". That will create some really nice chemistry, also because the audience is not the one falling in love. The thing that lacked in Tobey's movie is genius look in peter's eye. We never saw how smart peter is.(he is on reed richard's level imo) lastly,the peter shown in the trailer is too smoooooth, he should never be that good with girls

Oh yeah, he can really honestly discuss if he has a cameo in the Avengers.. If he did he would have been sworn to secrecy and have to sign all kinds of papers.. As much as I like Tobey's Spidey, I think this one will do just fine.

Why is it that every time a new version of a beloved franchise hits we automatically find flaws with the old version? I mean I can understand if the old films were crappy, but the old Spider-Man movies were actually good movies. Sure 3 was a bit weak, but they were still a really good vision of a classic character. And The Amazing Spider-Man looks to be another really good vision of that character and his world in a different light.

I have always loved Spidey but after the recent trailer I have to say that TDKR is starting to look a little better for single hero movies this year(after Ghost Rider of course lol).

But I will hold out hope until the end.

Seriously, What is with this Tobey hate. The guy has been in three movies, we haven't evens seen Garfield yet. People need to calm down. Raimi's films were really good, and anyone who says otherwise is delusional. That doesn't mean this reboot won't be good though. People its okay to like different interpretations on the same character

As long as this series of films doesn't give us a Power Ranger Goblin and crybaby/emo Spidey, I'll be happy.

I gotta say I DO like this kid as Spider Man but I feel like the story they chose to go with is gonna fall short with fans. The villain happens to be a scientist that Parker knows before he becomes evil and will inevitably feel somewhat responsible for him becoming that way. Pretty much the same as Osborn and Octavius. The dark vigilante part of the story with Gwens dad (Leary) seems Batman-ish (spider sign on the wall?). Swapping Mary Jane for Gwen was a good idea if they would've changed all this other stuff too. Lizard looks like a SleeStak and I think he'll disappoint. I hope it does suck just for the fact that Marvel could the rights back and we may actually see Spider Man in Avengers 2 (fingers crossed).
