Ok poster, not the best, looks a little fanmade. However, it will still be the best film of the summer (and this is coming from someone who loved the Avengers and is a huge spider-man fan).

looks fan made to me...disappointing.

I'm a massive Nolan and Batman fan and The Dark Knight Rises is at the top of my to-watch list but this is [frick]ing awful.
Knightrider
Knightrider - 5/21/2012, 2:40 PM
Where did you get this from? As much as I like it, I think that is the Batman from the TDK pic of him on the police car, and the background has been photoshopped too.

So calling fake until proven wrong

Really? Really WB? After the great marketing campaign of TDK, THATS the best you could do. God TDKR marketing sucks

Looking forward to the movie, but this poster... where's the TDK posters creativity?

It's just the teaser poster with an image of TDK slapped in front of it and fire textures. HAS TO BE FAKE!!

Nice, but

WHAT THE [frick] IS UP WITH THIS PERSPECTIVE? HE'S PLANKING?

Seriously, he's supposed to be in loco, right? The style is cool, but the perspective is bizarre!

It's official. It was released on the movie's official facebook page, and there was no mention there of it being fanmade.

It's an OK poster. Definitely has a fanmade quality to it, especially because it looks to be a couple of previously released pictures put together, but it gets the job done. There seem to be an awful lot of people worried for the quality of the movie because of the lackluster poster though, which is odd. The filmmaking and the marketing have nothing to do with each other pretty much. A "meh" poster doesn't mean it's going to be a "meh" movie.
Knightrider
Knightrider - 5/21/2012, 2:47 PM
Well it is on the Facebook page, so might be real. Either way, I do kinda like it, and really we are going to slag this off, when the Avengers posters left in the back light on all there posters.

Spider-Man is probably winning the poster awards thus far.
GuardianAngel
GuardianAngel - 5/21/2012, 2:48 PM
I am still pumped for this film, but the poster looks like a really bad fan-made attempt.

It's on the official TDKR FB page. UGH...

antonio - 5/21/2012, 2:49 PM
But, it still doesn't change the fact that this IS my most anticipated movie of the year.

why in every poster morgan freemen is last in the cast

Hell yes!

Love that Anne Hathaway is credited before Tom Hardy!
Knightrider
Knightrider - 5/21/2012, 2:51 PM
@dellamorte1872 You have figured out 75% of the movie! Wow congrats, you probably know more than some of the cast and crew. So using Spider-man and Avengers as examples you must have known around 99% to 100% of their movies from what we got.

I think this will be the first of a wave of posters
MovieMaster
MovieMaster - 5/21/2012, 2:52 PM
Look closely. It looks like the first teaser poster, BUT.........................................................................................................................................

It actually is.
antonio

This is about as lazy as The Avengers posters. Still, it hasn't appeared on TheDarkKnightRises.com yet.
NerdyGeek
NerdyGeek - 5/21/2012, 2:53 PM
I get what they're doing. It's pretty much TDK poster but with more destruction and Batman looking more sad (I guess), it's a nice idea but the entire thing reeks of laziness and the execution is terrible. It's feels like a crappy fan-made poster, no indication that this is the final film or anything like that.

What the [frick] is wrong with these big movie posters? First The Avengers now this? Movie will surely kick ass like The Avengers did, but damn...
