The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The following images are featured on the app version of The Amazing Spider-Man's official movie website. As well as offering fans the chance to see a 360° view of Spider-Man and his web shooters, they also reveal a great shot (and a few minor details) about the Lizard's mysterious weapon. Be sure to click on the link at the bottom of the page to visit the site, where you can take a much better look at the devices and read more information about them.

I can bet this device is a creation of Dr. Ratha's (Irrfan Khan's character...that's the name, right?). Or whatever it is, but I believe it will be somehow related to him.

"@NeoBaggins- As much as I defend the Lizards look, I must say that I spat my water out at that."

lol That's what it's all about; spitting liquids out onto our monitors and keyboards. Funner than arguing, althouh there may be a risk of electrocution.

Andrew Garfield is arguably the only cbm actor to have be THIS passionate about the character they are playing.

He's gonna be great in the role.

Riiiighhht

It's nice they pay homage to his original appearance and perhaps down the road he becomes more feral and develops the snout, but to think that it would look weird if he had a snout and talked out of the sides as opposed to a flat faced talking lizard?

It's a freaking talking lizard!!

Reminds me of a story a teacher once told about a friend of his. While watching little shop of horrors the friend couldnt believe how the gun fired more bullets than it could hold, yet the whole movie has a giant talking plant in it. THAT he had no problem with!!
