avengers vs x-men is better if you read all the crossovers as well,it adds so much more to the story.

that what i'm saying if you've just read issues AvX 1-4 it hasn't been great but if you read all the other books as well it a much better read.

it was the same for me with world war hulk,i thought it was a good story but when i got all the tie in issues as well it ended up being a great hulk story.

Can Cyke's X-Men lineup be any cooler? I mean, what an awesome team! Cyclops is a badass!

And can Wolverine be any wimpier? Poor Wolverine fans, I pity them, Wolverine isn't even the shadow of what he used to be. The mutant posterboy is long gone, nothing is left of what made him appealing to fanboys.

wolverine was great when we knew f*ck all about him,fantastic during in the 70s-90s but loss alot of what made him great over the years that followed.

still a good character,overused yes overrated never.

All in all, AvX hasn't been living up to the hype. I still find myself indifferent to what might happen to Hope if taken by either side. And I don't know who can get used to looking at this art, but I grimace every time.

If there's a scene where Uatu basically tells everyone fighting to "get off my lawn",I'll like all this just a little bit more.....

PatientZero and others, it's Dr. Nemesis. His mutant ability is a self-evolved intellect. He is the same Dr. Nemesis that worked with Phineas Hortan to create the first Human Torch(the android one from the Golden Age). Hank McCoy recruited him for the X-men science team after House of M and he's been an X-Man ever since.

I prefer current Wolverine. I am very much liking the dichotomy of being a school headmaster by day and secret ops assassin by night. I havent enjoyed the character this much in years.

The byronic hero schtick got to be a cop out for introducing new and terrible ideas/characters. Look at the recent retcon with First Xmen comics slated on coming out. Oh, Wolverine and Magneto were in an Xmen-esque team? really? thats about as bad as Mystique and Prof X all of a sudden being like bother and sister in the Xmen First Class film.

I dont think the byronic hero with amnesia direction is something that should have been maintained for decades.

but you know, to each his own.

**fingers crossed that well atleast get some great fights out of this story arc.**

@Marvel72 Uatu tends to skirt the whole "no interference" from time to time,usually getting reprimanded by his fellow Watchers in the aftermath.

Depending on who is writing the Watcher,naturally.

Will there be a callback to X-Men 137,and Wolverine's being forcibly evicted from the Watcher's home? One can only speculate....

These characters are poorly written and so much has changed for the worse lately it would seem,I haven't been following X-Men lately but I see magneto's a good guy now and colossus Is mixed with juggernut now anyoone care to explain this?

Oy, where to begin. When Juggernaut became one of the Fearless elite for the Serpent during "Fear Itself" the X-Men had to fight him and couldn't even phase him. So Colossus and Magik went to Cytorakk (spelling?) himself and basically ratted Juggs out for cheating on Cytorakk's possession with the Serpent's possession. This angered Cytorakk and Magik offered to take the Cyto possession (become juggernaut) but Colossus took it at the last second to spare Illyana an even more Fücked up life.

The whole things has been poorly written so far, I agree with everyone on that. Every character seems to have dumbbed down in order to jump at each other so easily. Cap and Cyclops consider the consequences, and put more planning and strategy into taking a dump then they have this entire event.

I just want to see if Hope goes Dark Phoenix or not.
