Watch, like the past 7,096,654,043 times Xavier has died, Magneto has joined the X-Men and acted all goody and shit till Xavier respawned somehow. I bet he'll do it this time too.

And yeah Issue 1 and 2 of AvX was cool and all, BUT ENOUGH WITH THE FREAKING HERO VS. HERO NONSENSE, MARVEL! MAKE UP A BADASS VILLAIN FOR ONCE IN THIS DECADE! If you try hard enough, you could even make the villain as popular as Thanos or Galactus! Fools, I swear!

The Gambit Freak has hit the nail on the friggin' head AND destroyed it in the process. It USED to be that Hero A would fly across Hero B's path and they would duke it out for half an issue 'til the badass villian revealed himself. NOW . . . we've spend 5 years with the fans (and every hero with or without a cape) having to pick sides, spout off, and then commence with the pummeling.

Enough.

They need to let Abnett and Lanning take over. THEY know how to look around for some good old fashioned evil types.

Yes, GambitFreak, Magneto has been a "good guy" for awhile now and has been living in Utopia with the X-Men. I'm sure he's pissed over Chuck's death. I hope he goes baddie again.

What is Mags so pissed about? Not getting enough play in AvX? Surely he's not pissed that Chuck died....after a couple of deaths already you'd think he'd be cynical by now.

Seems like Magneto might be pissed at Xavier getting killed. They are like brothers after all.

Even though most of AvX was good, I don't think I'm going to buy anymore "event" issues(except Age Of Ultron) I'll just wait for it to be in TPB format.

Anybody feel like they should do a Swimsuit issue again? Feels like the Marvel U needs to take a break after all this "event" stuff. Be nice to see everyone chill. Magneto looks like he's gonna have a heart attack... or tetanus shot from the looks of all that rusty metal.

I believe one day Marvel will get back to heroes and villains. I do. But I agree with the others who have made this complaint. I'm tired of hero vs hero. We've seen all the possible combinations of heroes fighting we can stand.

Will people quit complaining about heroes vs heroes? Secret Invasion, Siege, Secret War, Disassembled and everything that happens in between big events are ALL heroes vs villains. But i guess i shouldnt be surprised at all the people on this site making those comments since most dont even read comics in the first place.

I mean, just look at GambitFreak's comment about predicting that Magneto will turn good and join the X-Men after Xavier dies. Dude Magneto has been an X-Man for almost 2 years now.

All the ignorant comments that people make aboht comics when they dont even read them is very [frick]ing annoying.

I don't know if Magneto is currently capable of killing Cyclops but, he will certainly make the attempt, once he learns about Xavier. A nice twist would be Magneto having doubts about mutant superiority after this debacle. Have him kill Cyclops and then, maybe, have him consider that "a good start". It would be interesting to see his fanatacism switch to a genetic self-loathing.

Fingers crossed: Magneto for Avengers membership. Most of his family are Avengers. Lorna is the only one not an Avengers. If he's going to play hero-side he needs to join Avengers. And he would not be the first villain to become an Avenger either.

Those first two pages are awful. Logan's face is just wrong in that third panel of the first page. But I trust Gillen's writing so I'll check out the first issue.

Yeah we had doom in doomwar. Kang and ultron in avengers during the heroic age. The hood, even though he sucks, all through new avengers. Vampires in the x-books. I could name a bunch more. I actually like some of the in fighting amongst heroes sometimes. There is alot of gray area in the world, and you would think they would bumb heads a lot.
