Yesterday's All-New X-Men #1 teaser featured Beast seemingly undergoing yet another mutation (if you missed it, you can find it by clicking HERE) and today's features him and a few other of his fellow team-mates seemingly reflecting on the events of Avengers Vs. X-Men. They're clearly not happy either, although it's particularly interesting that Beast seems to be watching a video of Cyclops attacking - on the run from?! - police officers. Many thanks to Comic Book Resources for the following preview and excerpt.

The thing is Ororo, I've known Scott longer than ANYONE.
Me AND Hank.
We've known him forever. We were the ORIGINAL X-Men.
The Scott we grew up with - he would HATE this.

YES!!! Now this should be good. Seeing the Past versions dealing with how changed their current versions are. I can easily see past Beast being scared of himself and how the change came about, and then...causing his mutation AGAIN!

Maybe Beast feels guilty for not being there and helping him stay in the line the way Ororo was supposed to.

Hmmmm....I'll absolutely check this out but I'm weary of what will happen. If they make Cyke a villain they sure as hell should do to Wolverine...AND Cap for that matter.
I'm just hoping for some good writing again.

Scott vs the X-Men... This is Awesome!!!! Think about it other than Xavier Scott trained damn near every one of them and knows their strengths and weaknesses better than anyone. I think Scott is going to surprise the lot of us.

Scott could become one of the greatest villains in comic history in the league of Doom, Joker, Luthor and Magneto. When people think of the X-Men Logan, Scott, Xavier and Eric come to mind. Scott becoming THE villain after faithfully leading the team for decades is more emotionally striking than Xavier and Eric being friends. I hope the best for this storyline but you have to go H.A.M. to make it work. Either have him be a villain for 10 years + or have a emotionally gripping story of redemption. He cannot get out of actually killing Xavier easily but this is interesting for the future of the mutant community. So far NOW > 52
