Some people consider Aquaman to be a joke of a superhero, but I think he is a cool character. Geoff Johns as been doing a good job writing the Aquaman comics. He took Aquaman who was consider a joke, and can only telepathically communicate with fish. To now being cool again. Again, I like Aquaman.

Those panels would make such a good opening for an Aquaman movie. You could condense a lot of his origin down just by doing that word for word, maybe showing some more in flashbacks later.

This sounds really cool. I really know next to nothing about Aquaman's origins but after watching Young Justice and seeing how cool Aqualad is, Aquaman can only be better!!

I'd be down to watch him in a solo film! I really hope they introduce him in th JL sequel with a land vs. ocean storyline! Wishful thinking.... I know. *sigh*

even though I've made plenty of jokes about aquaman, I dont think people realize how awesome being king of the oceans is until they realize that most of the world is covered in water.

Meh. Stupid origin changes. Aqua-man's mom should have died at birth, Black Manta shouldn't be a murdering treasure hunter, Atlan the wizard should still be his father.

I hope that whoever picks up Aquaman after Johns continues with the badassery.

Mera is like on of the hottest fictional comic characters. I'm jealous that Arthur gets to hit that.
