@ marvel72, he's healed up now, but something happens to him apparently before this issue in order for him to look awesome like that again, correct me if I'm wrong.

I saw this in the preview book I got from my comic shop, this looks really fun. I like that its more subtle in humor, no thought bubble or self awareness.

Yeah he lost his HF, but I never believed it would be for long. He grew a finger back last issue but it took five issues, so they will probably explain why and what in Ways last issue. He is also gonna fight Slayback and T-ray, should be good.

I really dont see how people can tell a difference in his personality from a couple of pages. In the first pages he does the same old, gets eaten only to destroy the monster from the inside. The same way he did the predator x in the messiah complex rewrite. In one he does the running gag of getting dissed by an a-level hero, same as every volume of DP, even way's. And then some exposition dialouge, same as every first issue, including way's. I guess its cool to hate on Ways dp run. I still dont get why people claim that Ways dp is somehow different or bad from any other version. He did give him an extra box to talk to which i liked. But if you compare his to some of the truely horrendous stuff that other people did to him, way is definately in the top five writers to write him. I really dont think people who say they like "the old deadpool" actually read the old deapool, or havent read ways dp and just bashes it because everyone else does. If you think "shaddup" dp, or loki's son Thom Cruise dp, or stolen identity dp, or dp in space with fake lobo, is better than Way's, then i just cant understand peoples taste. If meat suit dp isnt up there with sheep gun dp i dont know what is.

That last panel gave me the creeps. Not easy.

Deadpool may be back, but I reserve my judgment, cuz if its good, then marvel will meddle.

when this was first announced I was woried it would be absolutly horrific but the more interviews I read about the direction they are taking & seeing this first preview I feel pretty good about it. of course I have to reserve judgement until the first few arcs are out but so far so good, it looks like a joe Kelly deadpool book some good humor mixed in with good action and oh yeah deadpool kicking some butt and not getting beat up by everyone like he did in daniel ways HORRIBLE ARC

but like I said I need to wait a few arcs cause even Daniel Ways series started good......then just tanked into the worst adaptation of deadpool since x-calibre

You have the right to your own opinion but not your own facts. Ways dp didnt get beat by everybody. You like to praise Joe Kelly's run, but the only big name he faced under Kelly was hulk and sasquach. When he faced the hulk, the hulk impales himself on a street sign in the biggest display of plot induced stupidity in comic history. Ways hulk arc was far better than that issue. The rest of Kelly's run DP spent every other issue trading wins and loses with the likes of T-Ray and Ajax. I loved joe kelly's run, he gave us the sheep gun, and dp shoryuken kitty, but part of the fun of Dp is he can take a beating and get back up.

Ways dp had great showings against Tiger Shark, Bullseye, Xmen, hulk, and captain america. You make it sound like he was getting spanked every issue, or didnt get spanked before by people like the cat, bad girls, or the punisher. He was sabertooth's bitch for a couple of arcs and to this day hasnt got payback( which im still mad about). Way dp is far better that Priest garbage, Dp as lokis son Thorpool, Dp in space with fake lobo.

But hey you can dislike whatever you want, but dp was gettin beaten up from the begining. I would say less under way than most people who wrote dp.
