Amy Adams Remains Coy On Whether She Will Return As 'Lois Lane' In MAN OF STEEL Sequel

Zack Snyder recently refused to give anything away about plans for a possible Man of Steel sequel and now Amy Adams (who plays 'Lois Lane' in the highly anticipated) reboot remains coy on whether she's signed up for future appearances as Superman's love interest. Check it out!

"We'll see what happens," said Man of Steel director Zack Snyder recently when asked about whether he is already making plans to helm a follow up to next June's Man of Steel. Of course, after the commercial failure of Green Lantern, it makes sense that Warner Bros. aren't rushing ahead with a sequel despite the fact that the popularity of Superman almost guarantees that the reboot will be a hit. Talking to Digital Spy while promoting her latest film The Master, Amy Adams was also asked about whether she's signed up to return as 'Lois Lane' in future instalments. However, unlike those who agree to multi-picture deals with Marvel Studios, it doesn't sound as if the actress has done anything similar (and if she has, she's definitely not giving nothing away).

"It was very nice to go into Man of Steel and something that was really energetic and outgoing. Suddenly I'm hanging on a wire in the middle of Chicago. It was a totally different experience and very fun. I always embrace getting to go from one thing to the next."

"I haven't seen the film, I've only seen what everyone else has. I have no idea how it'll all be presented. It's all top secret!"

"I loved [the trailer], I absolutely loved it! It made me excited to see the film and I'm in it. Hopefully it's gotten Superman fans excited, too."

"I would be more than happy to jump onto a sequel but you've got to, what's the saying, don't put the cart before the horse? Don't count your chickens before they hatch. I always take things one day at a time."

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

STARRING:

Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman
Amy Adams as Lois Lane
Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent
Diane Lane as Martha Kent
Michael Shannon as Zod

RELEASE DATE: June 14th, 2013.

The worst thing to do would be to replace anybody in the cast. Make it look like ANOTHER inconsistent semi-reboot? You have to be joking.

Olivia Wilde? No thanks, too wooden and not really that good of an actress.

Also, I like Amy better

There's nothing in her comments to suggest she isn't signed up for multiple films - she probably just doesn't want to look presumptuous by saying they will definitely happen.

As good as this movie looks. It is still too early to know how well it will do at the box office. I have a very good feeling about this movie. Amy is right though. She sounds excited to reprise her role, but it's too early for the studio to predict a sequel's chances. Look at what happened to Green Lantern!

+1 for Amy Adams.
She's a great choice.
I'm sure they are all wondering what WB is going to do next, considering all of the uncertainty with their leadership.

She's smart, attractive, and a phenomenal actress. The sequel getting the greenlight all depends on the success of MOS.

Thankfully, all the trailers for the movie have been nothing short of amazing!

I think MOS will knock it out of the park! I can't wait for 2013!!!

All actors of INCEPTION are signed up for 3 film deal!

That's a regular & usual thing in movies to do!
Ofcourse Marvel makes a much bigger deal but that's cuz they've got long term plans!

If WB/DC has a plan then she'll be signed on for atleast 3-5 films.
Ofcourse 3 is a No-Brainer.

Yeah sounds like WB has been eating huge pieces of humble pie since they paraded Green Lantern like it was going to be the next Dark Knight. They're not taking sequels for granted anymore. Though I still really wanna see a GL 2 that can redeem the first one.

I guarantee that every lead actor in this will have signed at least a 4 picture deal. WB would be stupid if they haven't. You know, just in case the Justice League ever happens...

We all know they're gonna eventually make a sequel. But WB/DC is too scared to announce it because they're afraid to count their chickens before they hatch (like Green Lantern).

So as you can see, things have changed, as is usually the case in Hollyweird. Of course, UltimaRex lives in denial hence why he clinges on to an ancient quote from Zack ´´Zod is not in this movie`` Snyder. ;)

@ranger14.. i know right, counting chicks before the eggs hatch much? though on the other hand this one does look like it has a better chance of doing better..
just the fact that superman has a physical enemy here, one that he can actually punch, gives it a leg up over returns..

So cool.. I'm so excited what Amy Adams said well. I know she always a great actress. Awesome what she have been talented before. I hope she will be great in Man of Steel too. Honestly, I wants one of another actress for Lois Lane in Man of Steel first before but now I accept and okay with Amy Adams in there. Just be positive and faith in Man of Steel. I believe this movie will be awesome more than Superman Return or old superman movies before because our new Superman must be ready to great punch at someone in there.

I would love to see Man of Steel sequels more and Justice League movie as Henry Cavill's role of Superman again someday if when it's success movie then say "Just Do It" for sequels. But I always unhappy about what Warner Bro. doing with each DC characters to be not yet success movies or nothing all deep while by just two famous characters of Superman and Batman films most time.. I know Green Lantern movie failed that a sad.. I love the character of Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)and I was upset with what Warner Bros. did mess up on the character by which the movie failed.. We never see the live action of DC characters together in one movie like Justice League before. I thoughts Warner Bros. never been do to be success for each DC characters all in the live action movies before like what Marvel did.
