COMICS: More Of Bryan Hitch's Breathtaking Artwork From AGE OF ULTRON

Last time we posted some of Bryan Hitch's inked pencils from Age of Ultron, we said there was only one word to describe them: "Epic". So, how on Earth can we some up these beautiful pages from issue #5? Well, "Holy Sh*t!" seems about right! Check them out after the jump.

Running from March to June next year, Brian Michael Bendis' Age of Ultron will see Bryan Hitch providing art for the first five issues, with Brandon Peterson and Carlos Pacheco handling art duties on the latter five. Thanks to our friends over at Comic Book Resources, we have the following inked pencils which are just breathtaking and truly epic in scale. As you can see, the remaining superheroes are clearly having a hard time with their battle against Ultron and his robotic army, so whether or not everyone will make it out of the event alive remains to be seen. Oh, and if you're not already, do yourself a favour and pick up Jonathan Ross and Bryan Hitch's America's Got Powers for more amazing art. Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.

Appropriate choice of words: "epic" being the new, overused word to describe anything that would formerly be known as "cool" but that is in reality, only slightly above average. And "holy sh!t" as in "holy sh!t" we've seen that before, many many times! There's nothing new under the sun.

...to "some" it all up.

HAHAHA. neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerd.

After thanos i think we are going to see an Ultron Wars or Age of Ultron story line in the MCU. I really think that avengers 2 will be a masters of evil story (theres no way they can do civil war), there will be some Thanos set up in phase 2 (and the avengers 2) but im thinking it wont be the main story, im really hoping they drag it out. Then Avengers 3 (and phase 3) will be all infinity guantlet/ thanos. Avengers 4 will be age of Ultron. This franchise and the franchises that come with it (CA, IM, Thor, Ant Man etc.) Arent going any ware any time soon. They can definitely keep plugging in actors and tell their storys on the big screen, small screen, comics and the internet. Were in a new golden age of comics.

After ultron THEN they can do civil war. Their will have been enough heros introduced and they will have saved the world, caused enough damage and had relationships, arguments and HISTORY on screen that it could be a compelling story. Thats my hope any way.

They brought this up on IGN that they've was planning Age Of Ultron for awhile and they had a timeline leading up to & all the events before it(Siege, Heroic Age, Second Coming, Schism, and I think even AvX)

isn't it kind of spoilery to have previews of issue 5 before the first issue has even been released?

Agreed. While the layouts and details are fine, if you look at every characters face you will see they look nothing like they should. Almost as if different people are in the uniforms. Even Logan looks like someone else.
