I don't know about you guys, but I personally can't wait for the release of Kick-Ass 2 later this year. We've seen plenty of set photos featuring the many colourful costumed characters who will appear in the sequel to Matthew Vaughn's 2010 movie, but this one gives us our best look yet at both Kick-Ass and "Justice Forever" leader Colonel Stars and Stripes. Expect a trailer soon!

Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

I wonder how far they're gonna take this movie, in terms of adapting the graphic novel.

I really hope it does happen to him, that would probably be the most brutal scene in any comic book movie ever.

We know the graveyard scene is gonna be in it, and the last movie went pretty far too so it might be in the movie.

I mentioned this the first time this was posted, and I said I dont think they will go the comic route,I bet carrey will have a much bigger role,I dont think they would of casted such a well known actor to not have him have a bigger role thn the comic, and I dont think they will put THAT in the film, far to graphic

I honestly don't know how there going to adapt this without it being NC-17 in the US. Even without the rape scene the content is extremely hard, and to be honest kick-ass 2 the comic sucked, it felt to me like shock value for the sake of shock value, and I liked the first one, the shock value in that book was used sparingly. Kick-ass 2 was shock violence at least 3-4 times per issue.

I hope they don't have him and his dog get their head's cut off and switched....that would scar me for life to see that in a movie.

Yeah I agree, try to respect the peeps who haven't read the book. Also I doubt a lot of those "scenes" make it into the movie. If they did I'd be really surprised anyway.

*SPOILER ALERT!*

Since a couple people here so strongly alluded to the fate of this certain character, I was bested by curiosity and had to look it up. Suffice to say, I will not be watching this movie. It's not because of the brutality, I can watch just about any degree of bad stuff happen on-screen -- it's a movie after all. Having said that, I absolutely hate movies in which a dog dies. Just can't do it.
