"It’s a collaboration between myself and Todd McFarlane and McFarlane Toys," The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman told MTV News. I’d been in discussions with McFarlane about doing the statue, and I said, ‘I really want to do something that pushes the envelope.’" Hardcore fans will more than likely notice that this is a slightly different 'Michonne' to the one we're used to seeing in the comic book series. Well, it turns out that there's a perfectly good reason for that! "Fans are definitely going to recognize her and the iconic aspects of that character, but I think there’s a lot of room to push the envelope and make things a bit more heightened, a bit more awesome," Kirkman says. "And this statue is definitely an awesome version of Michonne." The resin statue is approximately 14.5 inches high with a base that rotates 360 degrees. It's expected to cost $295 and will be limited to only 1,500 pieces. Be sure to click on the link at the bottom of the page to watch an interview about the statue with Todd McFarlane himself.

The Walking Dead Michonne statue is part of the McFarlane Toys Collector Club exclusive resin program available only on Store.Spawn.com. Pre-orders will start on February 11, 2013. Each sequentially numbered piece is hand-signed by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and will include a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by Todd McFarlane.

nice quality product but way out of my price range,i'd rather spend $295.00 or £187.00 on graphic novels & blu-rays then one statue.
