We've already seen some pretty good scans, but now Entertainment Weekly has released the latest batch of stills from Man of Steel in full quality. As well as offering up far clearer and larger versions of the ones we've already seen, we also have a first look at Faora in her Kryptonian armour.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Actually I think slow motion may actually work for Superman fights. I say have some extremely fast action scenes and then at certain points sort of slow them down so the audience actually can see what is happening.

It amuses me that people want to compare Iron Man 3 promotional materials to Man of Steel's.

For the last time, clowns, Man of Steel and Iron Man aren't in competition with each other. WB doesn't care if Iron Man has a million TV spots, 3 trailers and folks anxious to see it. By the time Man of Steel comes out, Iron Man might be the 5th movie in terms of weekend BO competition.

After Iron Man 3, The Great Gatsby, Star Trek, Fast 6 and The Hangover are all slated to come out before Man of Steel is released.
