North America has another week to go until Iron Man 3 is unleashed in theatres, but the Shane Black helmed movie is already out in countries such as Australia, Italy and France. Over the course of today and tomorrow, it opens across most of the rest of the world too. That means that box office analysts have been able to predict how well the threequel will perform internationally and so it is expected that it will have earned upwards of $110 million by Sunday. That's an improvement on Iron Man 2 which opened to $100 million in 2010. Its also thought that its North American debut will be even bigger than the last instalment. However, Disney are currently battling Regal Entertainment and AMC Entertainment over terms, meaning that it is nearly impossible for moviegoers to purchase advance tickets at this point. The movie has been confirmed for a May 3rd release in China.

Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?
