In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

The production quality, the look, the feel you get from the visuals just looks stunning, I adored the original films growing up and this feels like it will blow them away, FINGERS CROSSED.

I'm really looking forward to MOS! But I wonder why Clark as a kid has a cape? Considering HE is the hero who made capes a comic book trope, did he base his look on a comic hero from that world? It's all Very meta. lol.

@ Mryumum - Shut the f-k up you douchebag..we here on this site are entitled to look forward to whatever movies we want..I know what your doing and have seen it before..your trolling on others and trying ruin their enjoyment in seeing this and writing it in such a way it makes you look right....if we want to see this do better then BB or Iron man 3 then who cares..it's our right and if you don't like it then don't click on the MOS stories or f-k off back to whatever shitty page you go too. I hated Iron Man 3 so I don't click on Iron Man 3 related stories...

@nikgrid i thought the same thing... i feel like maybe it's some subconscious memory? he saw people in capes as a tiny infant and it imprinted so he's just drawn to them?

Early British Knights had cape... as a symbol of heroism.. Superman's cape is something like that..

Iron Man 2-73%,average rating 6.5/10
Iron Man 3-78%,average rating 7/10

So,Superman Returns is better than IM 2 and as good as IM 3.Hahaha.
