With around a month to go until Superman makes his sure to be triumphant return to the big screen in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, a new batch of stills (which come to us via Twitter's @_NerdyGeek_) put the spotlight on some of the reboot's supporting characters. They presumably hail from some sort of tie-in book related to the movie and the brief character descriptions which accompany them don't exactly tell us anything we didn't already know or hadn't assumed. Regardless, it makes a nice change to see a few other characters get some attention as the marketing blitz for Man of Steel continues to heat up with the daily release of new posters and TV spots!
In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination.
