... And it will lead to the next 12 part event and that will lead to another event and after that event to end all all events thee is the EVENT.

It was the worst ending of any Marvel crossover in a long LONG time. I wish i could unread it. I was at no point entertained there was no substance. All it does in the end is set up two other books that also look like crap.

This Is The End is a movie I can catch on blu or cable.., that way I'm not interrupted by babies that have been brought to the theater by people that don't use babysitters properly.

Stupidest event ever...

Did i just get way too high over the last 9 issues, or was Ultron even shown more than once?

Seems like for Age of Ultron we've all been dying for them to release, it should have some goddamn Ultron in it...

Nope, just a lot of namedropping and a half a Vision.. and then they went to the future supposedly to stop him which I was really looking forward to seeing...

But all we get is another goddamn The Journey of Wolverine story... This coulda just been a 4 issue miniseries about Logan and then at least they woulda marketed the damn thing right...

As long as this leads to the death of Wolverine i'll be ok with it... but more likely there will be an influx of all the other wolverines and we'll get a new book of an all Wolverine doppleganger team called the Weapon-X-Men...

God i hate Marvel events sometimes... at least Cyclops is still bein a badass.. Hopefully Battle of the Atom or whatever might actually restore my faith in Marvel Events... or if not there'll be enough x-men that i can overlook how shitty it really is... it worked for AVX lol

Endless events is a primary reason why I quit buying Marvel after 25 years. Events completely destroyed Marvel's storytelling ability. And at least half of them do nothing but destroy decades-established continuity only to do nothing but lead into the next overblown event.

Actually this issue has already made it online. I didn't read it though. But from what I read, it does indeed set up another event (a couple actually). I'd like to think what it teases is something I'll be interested in, but that depends on who's writing it. I stopped reading AoU after three issues.

I thought this series had potential at the beginning but it turned into a cluster-fuq. Bendis is losing it I can't comprehend how this is the same guy writing Ultimate Spider-Man.

I gave up buying this comic after issue 6. Now I just flip through it when I go to the comic store. lol

The lack of Ultron and sticking Wolverine at the center of a paradox killed something that was already on it's last legs with me.

I am interested in Hickman's 6-part Infinity story. And maybe the Atom crossover since it looks like it only lasts a couple of months. But events of 10-12 issues of obnoxious paradoxes and stretched out/misplaced storytelling is just dead to me.

This was definitely a waste of time and shouldve just been made into a different universe and its own continuity that wouldnt be confined to all of the usual gimmicks and limitations. Marvel comics as a whole are failing.

People keep complaining about Marvel events, but they keep buying them. IMO they keep printing them because you people keep buying them.

@KeefNCookies- No. They are doing pretty good. A lot of Marvel's comics right now are independently interesting and engaging and well written. Things like this event, though. They are proving to be a waste of... "multiple times".
