Couldn't agree more! Heck, I say get Hickman on Marvel cosmic. He's putting more cosmic mythos in his Avengers titles than Bendis and Loeb have done with Nova and Guardians together.

It is disappointing to see Marvel lose their focus on the comic books and their characters now as they try to turn them all into their upcoming movies and make them look the same as them etc...

Why would an intergalactic peace keeping team be dressed like buccaneers in this day in age with all the technology and combat fabrics and armies we possess.






You purist are stupid. The new costumes are cool as shit and make way more sense for the contemporary setting the books take place in now.



My only gripe is Star Lords helmet to a certain extent. I wish it did somewhere RESEMBLE the old mask NOT helmet. And could phase clear like the Kryptonian breathers from Man Of Steel.

The concept art for Star Lord shows that he will indeed be dawning the mask you prefer. Not to upset you but whatever mask is used will probably come off at some point in the movie we'd be lucky if he even wore a mask for quarter of the film.

I don't know what that Marvel NOW! shit is, and yeah, I don't care who reports me, because I'm not deleting this comment, and if anyone thinks I will, then you can think again, because this Marvel NOW! shit makes mad; the first comic I read was The Incredible Hulk issue 1 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Also, Brian Michael Bendis should be the editor-and-chief of Marvel.

I'm all about this. Lets see if Magneto and others can handle the Phoenix force half as well as Scott and the Phoenix five, because I believe free food, water and electricity was a damn good job.

i am almost 40 now...the current X-Men movie will probably finish on 2016...and the Avengers movie...probably finish 2017...i am really hoping that before i turn 50..i could watch an X-Men vs Avengers movie...i know it's a different Studio //Franchise..but who knows who could happen?..the only fact is Marvel comics own them...i love RDJ, but i cannot imagine him playing "old" Tony Stark..and you know no reboot/re-birth/beginnings..by that time people will be aware of this characters...when i say "people"..people like us who doesn't read comics or no access to it...but rely heavily on t.v and movie adaptations....so a straight up Avengers vs X-Men will be awesome...i'll be sixty and seventy..and my movies that i will tell grandchildren..would be MoS, TDKR, Avengers, Spider-Man..not unlike my grandfather telling me black and white movies...
