He loses healing factor, dies instantly from adamantium laced bones. This is idiotic. It's the exact reason Cyclops rushed to him after the house of M arc. He knew if Logan lost his healing factor the adamantium would kill him. Someone please find that panel. Marvel what the [frick] are you doing?

@PeterDarker I think Logan's healing factor will be weakened, not completely taken away. So he'll be slowly dying.

Ugh. Logan and Mystique's kid. No. I wonder who the mystery opponents are, though? In the image where Wolverine is dying (the Part 8 cover), one of the blurry reflections on the ground looks like Cable. High collar (like his harness he's currently wearing in the Cable and X-Force series) and the left hand has either claws or long fingers (like his new arm). I wonder if it's X-Force who is opposing the X-men here?

I hope this leads to a mending of the broken bond between Cyclops and Wolverine's teams. Maybe the surprise ending is that Wolverine is saved by Cyclops.

Remember Avengers Disassembled then New Avengers ?
Well what if Bendis and Aaron are actually trying to do the same thing but with Schism as Avengers Disassembled and X-Men : Battle of the Atom which acts a little bit like New Avengers or even like "Siege" ?
Whatever , just hoping there will be BIG Consequences and a nice end to this event ...

I wonder if Marvel is trying to phase out the "A-listers" they don't have film rights to. They killed Peter before and after his last movie came out. Wolvie looks like he's next when he has two movies due soon. FF and Silver Surfer may be next on the hit list if FOX gets their movies going. Considering all the characters I care about are either in house or not the star of their series then this possibility wouldn't bother me either way. I'm actually finding the Superior situation amusing.

I have to say it, I'm happy they are finally killing him. I'm tired of seeing him on just about every Marvel team. I'm bored of this 1 dimension character. How to write for Wolverine:
1) Make him preachy
2) Make him talk tough
3) Make him get attacked and leave him close to death
4) Make him heal, get angry then kill someone/something.
BORING!
How many more Sabertooth vs Wolverine stories or similar characters does he have to fight and always win.
