Those who aren't fans of the original will avoid this movie like the plague if this is the marketing campaign. I love it, but the general audience...

I love the poster but I also hate it haha. Still gonna watch this though, even if Oldboy is one of my all time favorite movies.

Oh boy I feel for the people that never saw the original. I heard they stick to the Manga, prepare for a gut punch once you reach the end.

Awesome poster. Still waiting for a chance to check out the original - or the manga, whatever comes first - but I'm excited for this.

This poster is different than the usual movie posters we see, and that is kind of a nice change, but WTF, this is not what i expected. For some reason i'm thinking Neo emerging from a box into the Matrix.

I'm a big fan of the original, i hope the do it justice. I'll be seeing it in the theater.

Does anyone know if the original movie is that different from the manga? I've never read it.

Glad this poster at least says "Spike Lee film", instead of "Spike Lee joint". Always thought that was super pretentious.

Ooooookay... (*_*)'

Loved the original movie, haven't read the manga yet. This could be good. Not that big a Spike Lee fan, although Malcolm X was great. I just noticed for the first time that Sam Jackson is in this, I wonder if/how he and Lee discussed Django Unchained.

One of my fav movies period. Really hoping Spike does this version well but I am sure that he will. The manga and movie do differ, mostly the violence id=s the main difference, but the movie is superior to the source is my opinion
