In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

This promo art is very weak. Electro looks the same as the set photos with Jamie in blue and a hoodie.

The Spidey promo does nothing for me. I've seen Spidey in hundreds of poses so I was more concerned about how Electro looks.

I think I speak for a lot of people here when I ask you if you hate this franchise so much why the [frick] are you even coming to any of its articles? You don't have to even watch the damn movie, theres like 50 billion other CBMs coming out ever year to satiate your CBM needs so why do you feel the need to just repeat the same thing for every TASM2 article?

Here's the thing with me and TASM series, ekrolo2.

I love Spider-Man. He's one of my favorite superheroes. I want to love this series, I wanted to like TASM but I didn't. I didn't go into TASM thinking "boy I'm gonna hate it, no way it's gonna top Raimi." I nearly saw the film in theaters but my brother didn't want to go see it because he thought it looked like shit. My best friend said he saw it and said it was shit so I decided to wait to rent it.

When I finally saw it, I was extremely disapointed. This didn't feel like Spider-Man too me. I know some people should be more open minded and shouldn't focus on source material, which I don't, but there were many things I didn't like about it. I never once felt that this was Spider-Man, it was just some asshole in a costume.

I'm open to TASM2 because I love Jamie Foxx and think he could be great but not much has impressed me.

Need a trailer.

Seeing as Marvel has been consistently and perfectly [frick]ing Spider-Man in the ass with and post One More Day, and haven't had a clue as to what to do with the character for a long time. They are the last people I want to see handle Spider-Man.

Also Marvel sold partial rights to character himself to Sony, he is never, ever, ever, EEEEVVVVEEEERRRRR coming back to Disney/Marvel. Hell Marvel needs to ask Sony for permission when they do anything Spider-Man related outside of comics.

Alright I may a little but I click on them hoping to see something good about this film and see something to grab me and for me to have confidence in. In this all I see is the same Electro from the set photos. Nothing new which I would have liked to see.

I didn't care about the Spider-Man pose. He's posed hundreds of times.

@LEVI: You do realize that the studio never intended for people to see the set photos and they're unofficial, right? The promos is not exactly for you, it's for people who doesn't check out websites like this. For some people, this is one of the first looks they'll get on a new character in a movie.
