I'm going to go ahead and say I think the Iron Man dynamic on GOTG is really cool. It's really interesting to make Tony the low-tech one, even if he is an odd fit on the team.

Pure pulp fiction.

Love it.

Based on synopsis for future issues, Tony will leave the GOTG. This is a really good series but I just wish Star-Lord had his mask!

These aren't "pulp" covers. They are awesome riffs on the EC Comic series from the mid to late 1950's.

Haven't had a problem with Iron Man on the team. But I am beyond tired of Rocket Raccoon saying "blam, murdered you" every other panel. I could also do without the Seinfeld-like back and forth that Bendis is so fond of:

"The Earth is off limits." "The Earth?" "The Earth." "Off limits?" "Off limits." "The earth is off limits?"

Other than that business, I think this run is decent and it seems to be getting better, so I'm gonna stick with it a while longer. Love those covers btw.

Yeah, chiming in with the boot Tony chant. I dunno why they take the potentially most "exotic" Marvel book and stick the same mug we're seeing everywhere else in it. If anything it just makes the potentially new exciting feel disappointingly familiar.

I'm no fan of the Mass Effect-esque suits, either, but that's just sorta petty of me. I'm being petty about the Hulk armour in the otherwise excellent Waid Hulk, too. Heavy pett..y.

Really don't like the artwork in this series. Story is OK so far, but compared to the Guardians run in 08-09, this artwork is bad.
