WTF, is up with all this stupid numbering the past couple years. #23.1 etc... Marvel and DC both have picked up this annoying trend. Does anyone know the real reasoning behind this? Just curious. I realize this one may be more apt with the villain take over and all, but this hardly the first time they've done this.

Only they can pull off some weird $hit with the Joker. Yup slap Joker's or Batman's face on something and it will generate sales.

For those of you calling this book weird, what do you expect? It goes into the life of a maniacal psychotic super-villain dressed as a clown. Were you expecting the Joker to get in his Honda and drive to his work in a cubicle?

The .1 titles are to denote that the comic is apart of the series but not attached to the ongoing story. They may ship a .1 and full issue in one month. And probably makes collecting easier.

I think DC wrote themselves into a corner by cutting off jokers face. Now they'll just do prequels and junk to get around it. It was just for shock value
