Warner Bros. CEO Says Ben Affleck's BATMAN Will Be, "Tired, And Kind Of Weary And Seasoned"

"Ben is perfect for the vision Zack has for that character. The fact that you saw such a passionate response in the blogosphere is really kind of a testament to the love that people have for this character," Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara said today at the Bank of America Merrill Lynch 2013 Media, Communications & Entertainment Conference in Beverly Hills. He would then add that Ben Affleck is "perfect" for the role, promising that this Batman will be "tired, and kind of weary and seasoned". The Hollywood Reporter also reveals that he told those in attendance there are "several" more DC related announcements on the way for everything from video games to consumer products, television and films. "DC really does touch a lot of parts of our business and is an important part of the strategy in how we're going to grow going forward." How do you guys feel about these comments? Sound off below!

well i think its safe to say we already know the following

2 batman animated films...the son of batman and batman based on the arkham game.....probably most likely a follow up video game to arkham city since the original voice of batman said he was working on a different project for the next consoles

A tired weary Batman at the beginning of the Superman franchise makes no sense... at all... unless this is somehow in the future... but that doesnt make sense either

Have faith in Snyder, affleck, cavill... etc... but I dont have faith in WB. and at the end of the day, those suits are really in charge, which is how DC does not have a great cinematic universe yet.

I cant stand how WB operates... it seriously pisses me off. How they they constantly [frick] up the gold mine that is the DCU.
I have HIGH hopes for this movie, but am already prepared for it to be a dismal disappointment

star wars will be BANK im thinking avengers numbers depending on how it comes out

I don't like the idea of an older Batman.

However if this means we get a more parental Batman like the one in Young Justice, then I'm cool with that.
