Taking place before the rise of Gotham City's most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.

Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate are both available worldwide on Oct. 25, 2013!

Sure, you can't compare a 53sec animated segment to a full length live-action movie, but i think these guys (or whoever did this trailer) show that they "get it"!. They seem to know exactly how to introduce the character to the audience and how the audience can be hooked on the character.
It's almost a powerful instant impact that many comicbook movies lack.
CGI cinematics etc. have an impressive quality that is definitely absent from hollywood... (in terms of comic book superhero themes).

Damn! I can't watch it at work! YouTube is blocked because it is categorized as "Mixed Content/Potentially Adult" by the company's Internet monitoring software. What's wrong with "Potentially Adult"? I AM an adult so it's all good! Haha!!

I love this teaser has to be one of the best I've seen thus far!!

Only one nitpick with it is the whole getting bullied thing. Does every superhero have to go through the "kid gets picked on to the 100th level bullying" stage? Not whining at all, because this IS a beautiful trailer but I was just wondering why? lol

Can't wait for this and the first teaser for Batman vs Superman!!!

@ExAximis...took the words right out of my mouth. I found that more emotionally moving than anything from the DK trilogy.

@BlackNerd...my take was that Bruce was not being bullied. Instead, it showed Bruce had an uncontrollable anger in his childhood. He was getting in fights because of the anger burning inside him. He eventually channeled that anger into his training and, eventually, into becoming Batman.
