@Spectacular

Because giant Pacific Rim sized robots patrolling heavily populated cities like every major town in the US totally makes sense (not).

The smaller ones are gonna be in the 70s to patrol cities (which means they wont cause millions in property damage and kill the people they are meant to protect with every taken step) with the big ones probably being left for the future apocalypse scenario where civilian safety is not an priority anymore.

@ Nomis ----

Man, I hate to sound like this -- but I always agree with 99.999% of the stuff you post. If I didn't know better, I'd swear I had a twin brother or something out there.

The Byrne run was what made the X-Men THE X-MEN for me. I was collecting em as they ran back in the late 70s/early 80s. I remember the extreme disappointment when I went to the bookstore and picked up X-Men 144.

Fantastic Four 249 filled me with crazy giddiness....
and X-Men the Hidden Years --- that title was bad-assed.

If you want a good fix, check out Byrne's new series, Triple Helix. It's tied into the Danger Unlimited universe.
