Curious to see where this story goes. I've enjoyed this book so far but still look forward to Parker's return. The longer they take the better though, as it will make it more substantial.

I'll tell you why. Because Slott likes to piss off people who gave a damn about Peter and wants to pour salt into a wound.

So, Carpenter is awake from her comatose state now. Wouldn't you figure that you know, being a clairvoyant and psychic due to having the original Madame Web's power that she'd instantaneously already know what happened to Peter? If she doesn't, then I don't even know what to say.

Why can't they go back to writing the good Spidey material?

You know, like when Spider-Man asked to the Devil to erase his entire loving marriage just to bring his 80 year old aunt back to life?

That was magic.

When writers go bankrupt creatively, they kill a major character - only to bring the character back later.
Doc Ock and Peter Parker will both be back soon in their old bodies, just as Superman did, just as Hal Jordan did.
Big yawn.

I can't wait for Peter to come back! Plus I freaking LOVE BLACK CAT! I know people love MJ but after Gwen Stacy, Black Cat is my favorite love interest. Actually I liked Carlie a lot to.

Is that big guy supposed to be The Kingpin didn't his body go missing after the Inferior Spider-Man shut down Shadowland?

@Humperdink

You know what? I had in my mind that a possible "route" is that the actions of Doc Ock undo a bit of what Mephisto did in BND, and he comes back PISSED...Now i know conventional wisdom is Madame Web, but it would be cool..
