Dear GOD make it STOP! Summer of 2014 can't get here fast enough. I'm not super pumped to see ASM 2 but I know that's when the real Spider-Man will finally be back.

You know I just started reading Superior Spider-Man a few days ago only because there's so much hate out there for it. Am I insane to say I don't hate it so far? I'm only 4 or 5 issues deep but it's got me hooked a little bit, I wanna see where this is going.

Have any of you with the negative comments actually read this line? If so continue to bash your entitled to your opinion. If not give it a read, I have read it from the beginning and I was not a fan of the idea to begin with but I have really enjoyed this run. I am with all of you that I want the real Peter Parker Spiderman back but this has been a good read and a shakeup from the normal.

I don't get Marvel's obsession with ruining their top character. Could you imagine DC doing something like this with Batman?

I hate Humberto Ramos' art. Give me some more Giuseppe Camuncoli and btw idk why the hate. The hate should go on Ramos for producing shit art, thats the only thing that ticks me off from this comic.

People complain about the dumbest things.

Yes, Ock in Spidey's body was not the way I would have gone, but it has been interesting.

Also, the symbiote attaching to Ock kind of makes sense. The symbiote has a past connections with Spider-Man, and can probably feel the difference, and the slightly darker Peter Parker. The symbiote may not know exactly what has changed, but it can definitely feel a difference. So yeah, it actually makes sense for it to try to bond with Ock Parker.

As for people complaining about "whats next? ock-goblin?" and whatever else you're saying? Read a comic for once, because again, if you know spidey's past mythos, this actually makes more sense than you might initially think.

I like... Hope he can keep it for awhile (but most likely it'll only last for this story arc).

Got a new Lady Deathstrike, and now a new Venom... Good stuff.

I've slowly (perhaps sadly) been liking what Marvel is kinda giving Peter the "Hal Jordan treatment". It's like someone at Marvel said "As long as it sales, do what you want."

General Populace (Movie goers and action figure buying parents) in this case are used to Peter Parker Spidey, It'll revert back in some mega "end-all" "Going-Out-of-Business Sale" crossover..yada yada yada

@TelaVizion

Yup.

I was completely against this for the longest when Superior was first announced. But I picked up the first issue over the summer. Next day, bought the first trade. It's actually really good. And no.....it will never be considered the worst Spidey arc. Just most controversial.

It was that bad, huh? I'm surprised that I have never read it. I usually collect anything that Jim Lee is attached to.

Superior Spider-mans a good read. It's good to see Spider-Man do something different, instead do just throwing him on a different team and reversing the color scheme of his suit.
