In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

STARRING:

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Shailene Woodley as Mary Jane Watson
Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro
Sally Fields as Aunt May

Movie studios can make money off of sequels no matter what....If TASM sucked then they know that if they have just enough to pump out a second movie, fans are going to want to see it. With the proper marketing and hype behind it, fans will always say "I hope/It looks better-than the first one." Studios make money off of knowing this. Excellent strategy and people will just have to wait and see if they'll be disappointed or not. I hope it is way better than the 1st movie......

surprised they are releasing it that late compared to XMen and Cap trailers.

But I guess it doesnt matter, since Spiderman has always gotten more money than both superheroes.

Even Man of Steel didn't live up to all the hype and attention given to it. Sure the trailers were great and it was a good movie, it still failed to put unapologetically place Superman on the throne of some super-hero-king or god-like status. Snyder wanted that action so bad that the drama of the movie suffered for it and there was a lack of detail in the script as far as intelligence....but who am I kidding? I'm gonna be there in line for the sequel that's for sure and like I just previously wrote.....I hope the sequel does better than the 1st...

Can't be sold on the trailers alone.....I'm going to catch this flick because I do like Andrew Garfield and Jamie Foxx and I have faith that any discrepancies found in the 1st film will be tweaked and improved upon.....the costume change is a HUGE plus in my book....

This movie looks very cool. Hopefully its plot will be so far from the details of the first one, that I can just ignore whole TASM...pretend like it would've never happend...delete it from my brains...god I miss LEVITIKUZ.

I was pleasantly surprised how much I like the first one. It had its problems but it set the new series up pretty well. I'm actually excited to see this one.
DVonShakari
DVonShakari - 11/25/2013, 10:54 AM
I think both movies were very close to the comics....Raimi's Spider-Man was close to the original source material while this new dude's Spider-Man is closer to the Ultimate Spider-Man material....

I prefer the original stuff though....the new stuff is a bit pretentious, emo, and hipster-y
DVonShakari
DVonShakari - 11/25/2013, 10:57 AM
on a scale of 1-10 (10 being best)....

Raimi's 1st Spider-Man movie get's an 8
Webb's 1st Spider-Man movie gets a 7

that is all.....lol
