I'll just keep reading Superior Spider-man until the real Peter Parker comes back for good. I'd rather read the on-going storyline than some blast-in-the-past type thing

Superior is coming to an end soon. Come on! Carlie Knows Wraith knows, Green Goblin knows....AND "Otto's" body is missing. It will end soon.

Guys, what if it ends sorta like Breaking Bad? In the sense that Otto realizes the damage he's done to Peter's life and ends up giving it back to him, at the cost of his own?

It's a start.
It'll be nice to want to buy issues of Spider-Man again.

I was very much against Doc as Spidey, but some of the stories with him were decent, but I would much rather have Peter back!

Haha I was too tired when I read that title and shouted "Finally!!!" haha oh well he'll be back for real soon enough and Otto is going to pay.

Although its going to be really interesting seeing Peter pick up the pieces once he is back.

I've enjoyed Superior Spierman. It's a different view on the story. Is it as shocking as eliminating Peter's marriage? Opinions vary. Either way, it stays on people's minds and conversations so the writing is having a profound effect.

I gave Superior a try at the beginning and got a few issues in, but it didn't hook me. ASM wasn't really that good for a while before it ended, but having Peter Parker kind of helped to make up for that. I don't care about Ock and Slott didn't show me why I should. Meanwhile, Venom and Scarlet Spider made me fans of characters I had no real interest before but Marvel cancels those.

I'm going to miss Otto playing Spider-Man. He's so good at it!
But are we positive that this is Peter and not Kaine?

To the guy calling the Superiror plotline a ripoff of Smallville... you do realize Spidey has done plenty of mindswap stories since the 60s? It's not even the first time he's been in that predicament.

For a second I thought Spider-man fans will finally shut the hell up about Otto being Spidey.

Ock being Spider-Man is a breath of fresh air. Peter Parker has been reacting to the same characters, the same way for over 50 years. It's good to have something different every now and then.

precisely keef marvel can try all they like until slott and his disgrace that is known as the 'superior' spider-man are gone, no one is interested. Only thing he improved was the suit, but I've always been a sucker for alternate suits...but storyline wise no interest

Did you miss the part where he singlehandedly cleaned up all the crime in NYC, while managing to capture and imprison all his worst villains? Perhaps you missed the part where he got Peter his doctorate and started his own tech company? These are all things Peter had the power to do, but not the balls.

What will be awsome would be if superior spiderman was cloned and Peter got his body back from one so the superior can stay too...but I doubt they do that cause ock would probably fight over being the better hero and say "this is my city, I've protected the people a whole lot better than you could have ever done Peter"

Don't you just love the Ultimate Universe? Or the Post-Blackest Night/ Pre-Flashpoint DCU?
Death meant death, in those universes.
It's almost as if comics have finally become cartoons (as in looney tunes-style cartoons) in the wake of Superman's death and return.
Not even cancelling series counts any more, if this is #700.
Even fvcking Bucky's alive in 616, now!!!
What's next? The real Gwen Stacy back from the dead?
Because she's really the only thing left sacred, anymore.

I'm in no rush for peter parker to come back. I think that Superior Spider-Man is an fun and interesting read. Doc Ock has made some notable improvements to the spider-man arsenal and his take no prisoners style of super heroics is extraordinarily efficient.

Personally, I'd love for Doc Ock to somehow occupy a clone body that way we could have peter back and Spock. Superior Spider-man is a bad ass and I love him.

Peter Parker is never coming back. If he does, it won't be for another 15 to 20 years.

Marvel would rather have a violent, manipulative murderer masquerade as Spider-Man.
