Loving this series and the entire concept of wiping out this reality. That said, the new SHIELD helicarrier thing looks even more preposterous and illogical than a floating aircraft carrier.

I wonder if some of the heroes of the Ultimate Universe (or at least Spiderman) are going to end up crossing to the 616 universe somehow and live there.

Shit, Galactus will get the beating of his li... existence. Poor guy never had a chance. I mean, looks at the cover, Spidey's totally toying with him.

I would love to see Miles survive and end up in the 616, but at the same time they have enough Spider-People there. The rest of that screwed up Ultimate Universe can rest firmly in Galactus colon (if he has one)!

The Ultimate Universe gets far too much shit and not enough praise or appreciation.

It sucks that the ultimate universe has gone down hill, used to love its early days. Now it's just like an old dog that's had its time and is ready to be put down.

I remember loving so many different alternate universes thanks to the amount of mini's and alternate series' (2099, 1602, etc.) and books like eXiles. Ultimate was great up until Ultimatum, havent enjoyed a single book since except USM.

While I wont miss this universe, I'll miss all the others they're destroying as well.

The Ultimate universe IS shit -- and Galactus will shit it out after he eats it.

this is not how the ultimate universe is gonna end there gonna stop galactus but there gonna try and see were he came from so they find or build a portal to 616 ( spider-men) and but what brings it to the end is that they know galactus is from that universe so they believe that they tried to attack them bringing on a war between 616 and ultimates

I'll definitely be buying this. Hopefully The Ultimate Universe will become dissipated by the hands of Galactus.

Even if Galactus doesn't make it happen, something does. Susan "Kang" Storm showed Reed the near future of the Ultiverse, and there was nothing at all.

Not so sure Miles is going to make it, but I do suspect that 616 Miles is the new Mysterio that Doc Ock has locked up in his basement.

I wonder if the Ultimate Universe is where the Ultimate Nullifier comes from, did they ever gave an origin to that device?

Can someone tell me if the rights to Miles are owned by Sony?
loki668
loki668 - 12/1/2013, 10:20 PM
Oh man. They don't even know who or what they're up against. That's just cold. Of course, I don't know how it would make them feel better to know exactly who and what they're up against. Maybe Galactus needs a promoter.

"Here he is folks! The one-man gang from the big bang!! GALACTUS!!!!"
SeriousJokester
SeriousJokester - 12/1/2013, 11:42 PM
@African nerd.
Don't know if that's a joke, or sarcasm, but nearly every Ultimate character with a few exceptions are weaker, MUCH WEAKER, than their 616 counterparts. Thor, Hulk, Spidey, all weaker. I think Cap, Magneto, and I know Ultimate Colossus are about the only one's more powerful. That being said 616 Galactus is so powerful that pretty much all of the 616 heroes can't take him down. You do the math.
SeriousJokester
SeriousJokester - 12/1/2013, 11:44 PM
Ultimate's better figure out a way to negotiate (as the 616 has before), or Big G is gonna turn them all into galactic bowel movements.

SuperSomething616 - 12/2/2013, 2:45 AM
HAHA....i love the way that this is clearly stating that the Ultimate Universe so far is vastly inferior to the mainstream 616 universe...

Basically they cannot deal with Galactus...Ultimates my ar$e!!!

@NoshtheDemonSlayer Please show me where it says Ultimate Universe characters are weaker than their 616 counterparts. I assert you are making stuff until you prove otherwise.

@Melkaticox
Reed and Kang (Sue from the future) tried to stop the Ultimateverse from being obliterated by taking over the world and gathering all the infinity gems. He murdered A LOT of Earth's population, destroyed most of China and nuked the USA.
@126thst
Lots of Ultimate characters are weaker than their original counterparts. Thor for instance is powerless without his belt and hammer. And Hulk doesn't seem to get stronger as he gets madder. And neither Ultimate Spider-Man was as strong as the original.
rabid

@Darth258
The nullifier is part of Galactus that came with him from his original universe. It's hinted that it may have been the ship he piloted to battle the Big Bang. With all these universes being destroyed by the time/space crunch, it's the perfect time to finally explain that device.

@m0th3r

No. Sony only owns the rights of characters (as well as alterate versions of characters) up the point they bought them.

Miles Morales was created after that, so it's still owned by Marvel. Marvel, however, wouldn't be able to use him properly due to the Spider-Man trademark being owned by Sony, so they would have to change his name (i.e. No Spider-Man) and costume (i.e. Nothing Spider-Man inspired) as well as anything that relates him directly to a Spider-Man related character.

@dildich

Wrong-o!

Marvel Studios can not use any Spider-Man property without Sony's permission. They cannot use Miles Morales as Spider-Man in the MCU unless Sony says it's OK.
