Trivia:

Death's Head was created in the old Transformers UK comic and had run-ins with Doctor Who.

Deaths Head II to be precise!I used to absolutely love that character. Did anyone ever read Overkill? A Uk compilation title? So much more violent and downright nasty than the US variants. Thoroughly worth a look.
I remember one particular comic with an old cyborg at the end of the universe being particularly meloncholic.

@ Zarathos, god i used to love Overkill! i had all my copies confiscated after i took them to Secondary School, never got them back. i remember they were taken away due to some guy having his hand hacked off in a fight. i would love to read them again.

I remember killpower vs Punisher too, happy days.

Surprised the EU haven't decided that Captain Britain is offensive and urged him to be renamed Captain European Union man.

I had a few of those Marvel UK books a while back, probably still do somewhere. I can't say that this run will be on the top of my pull list but the art really does look good.

Now this looks interesting, I might pick this up. Good to see something that isn't some self involved avengers crap with 100 avengers in one book.

I had just unearthed and was rifling through my olde Marvel collectible cards and forgot all about Motormouth, Dark Angel and Death's Head II. Guess I never realized they were UK specific...

Death's Head was just such a cool bounty hunter or freelance peacekeeping agent as he always called himself, yes?
Zarathos
Zarathos - 12/12/2013, 4:58 AM
@Leethario, yeah I can totally see how they would be confiscated! There was just something about the UK comics that gave them a harsher feel. Even the marvel Transformers comics were pretty hardcore for the time.
Great to see Deaths head 2 is back, I never really got the love for the original. Probably because his arm couldn't turn into a cannon, a mono-nuclear blade and some weird...um...pointy thing?!

@Jordanstine, the lady with the short hair is called Motormouth. She is my future wife.
