@itCameFromPlanetEarth I believe they still have shows like that.

Honestly I used to HATE CGI animation, but Pixar/Disney movies and the Clone Wars used it in a way that made it grow on me.

I still like the old fashioned drawing cartoons, but CGI isn't a bad way to go if done right.

@Braniac3000 I think this is set 14-15 years after Revenge of the Sith

@JorL5150 At least a cameo or something.

I'm hoping we see very little of Vader. When Vader arrives on screen his presence should be felt, but we shouldn't see Vader for more than maybe 2 or 3 episodes a season.

I look at the Inquisitor and think of Tion Medon from Revenge of the Sith. Has anyone said if the Inquisitor Pau'an?

@MCott The Inquisitor is a Pau'an I believe.

Jedi and Lightsabers just aren't cool or unique anymore.
A least we're get Rebels and Stormtroopers. Hope we get more of that rustic dirty feel from the Originals rather than the fresh and shiny feel from the prequels.

ndwwrestler2 - 1/10/2014, 1:26 PM
@CuddlyCereal I can kind of understand why people would say that Jedi aren't cool anymore, but lightsabers? C'mon man. You can not convince me that deep down you don't want a Lightsaber.

I hope we get to see a character or two that give off either a Western or Samaurai Type vibe on the show.

Lightsabers used to be super cool, but after Episode 2 where there's almost 20 on screen at once.....
I think the timeframe of the prequels is cool, it just wasn't executed well enough. And sometimes the magic lies in what isn't seen (I.e Ben Kenobi's description of that time.)

grif, This has nothing to do with Abrams. Star Wars btw is about Light Sabers! In Lucas' original drafts Stormtroopers use Sabers & it was a common weapon.

it would be ballsy to do the story from the empires perspective-

a bunch of true-believer nationalists/state-ists trying to damp down "doemstic terrorist" libertarians.

ndwwrestler2 - 1/10/2014, 2:05 PM
@BadNewsBarrett I don't get it...where is the bad news?

@JorL5150 I believe it was Pablo Hidalgo that said that it wouldn't be all black and white. So maybe there is a chance that we'll see a couple of episodes from the perspective of the Imps.

I hope we have an arc focusing on a Tie Fighter Squadron who don't necessarily believe in what the Empire does.

ndwwrestler2 - 1/10/2014, 2:25 PM
@RetroFit Maybe Vader can't actually do everything, and it would take more than Stormtroopers to take down a Jedi. Ventress and Grievous aren't Sith, so maybe the Inquisitor is just an assassin.

"Who cares about The Inquisitor?" You know that question would be valid if the show had came out. But seeing how the show isn't out until October, I don't see the point of asking that question.

Plus I'm sick of bald villains.

I'd rather they restore Grevious to the badass he was in the 2003 cartoon. Not the wheezy pussy that spews things like "gargh! I'll get you get time Obi-Wan! We will meet again!!!" *shakes fist in the air*
