actually I did a story recently on how comics are the only printed medium that have increased readership because of the movies that have come out.

Alot of people have started reading while magazines, newspapers and other printed media are down.

Marvel is tearing DC's ass open in the movie department tho.

Yeah Marvel is killing DC at movies (blame WB though)
But DC comics are better these days. Marvel has become so convoluted and messy.

Marvel is also barely besting DC in comics currently. While top 5 comics are usually filled by DC (Batman and in small dose Superman, fans are legions and that nuts), Marvel are making up the rest with their breadth offering from X-Men titles, Moon Knight, Daredevil to Captain Marvel.

Yes that's true most people haven't. Because before these kids were spoiled rotten with their movies we had one comic book movie coming out every 5-10 years. So what did we do? Read. And I still do if it's comixology or hard copies. Then they claim I be CBM experts.

This is just the end result of a website filled with kids who only watch the movies and don't read.

I'm ass backwards with batman in the new 52. I think I read death of the family first before court of owls and night of owls and now I have to read zero year. I have them all I just haven't gotten the chance to finish up. Eternal being once a week is a lot to swollow.

@ DD book purchasing has increased since the inception of the internet. Kindles, amazon, digital copies etc are part of this trend.

btw I need to catch up on this title.
