Oscar Isaac Eyed For STAR WARS EPISODE VII; Harrison Ford Has "Gigantic Role" In New Trilogy
J.J. Abrams is hosting a table read for Star Wars Episode VII in London tomorrow, with the cast set to attend. The latest names to have surfaced in connection with the movie are Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and John Boyega, while Harrison Ford's Han Solo will have a big role in the first of the new trilogy!
According to Deadline, Inside Llewyn Davis star Oscar Isaac is now being eyed for a major role in Star Wars Episode VII, as are previously rumoured candidates Adam Driver (Tracks) and John Boyega (Attack the Block). Oxford trained actress and relative unknown Maisie Richardson-Sellers' name has also resurfaced, and the site unfortunately has no word on who any of these actors will be playing. They do however reveal that, "The big surprise, I’m told, is that Ford has a gigantic role in the first of the next three films." That's definitely unexpected, but very welcome news! Expect to hear something official about the cast on May 4th, a.k.a. Star Wars Day. How do you guys feel about this news? Be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
