Why didn't they use CG animation,to look like the game series?Could've used the original character models, locations and everything.Probably sell more that way.

I wanna know why the hell Batman is even doing on this when the Suicide Squad is clearly the focal point of this movie. Come on DC Batman does not need to be involved with everything to be a good story. Suicide Squad is a great story with lots of possibilities to work with so we don't need Batman stealing the spotlight.

KrazyForKomix
KrazyForKomix - 4/30/2014, 9:55 AM
not that this factoid matters at all, pesmerga44, but you HAVE to know it's babyass Warner Brothers that is demanding the inclusion of Batman (and sometimes Superman) in everything. They must think Marvel's recent success is all one big fat lie. They are . . . Marvel Deniers!
GLprime2814
GLprime2814 - 4/30/2014, 9:59 AM
They can't call it a suicide squad because a lot of people won't know what it is, and parents won't buy it for their kids if it says suicide on the cover.
KrazyForKomix
KrazyForKomix - 4/30/2014, 10:22 AM
GL makes a good point.

Call it Task Force X and use the same cover. Then all the parents buying this for their 5 and 6 year olds kids will feel LESS betrayed by Warner Brothers bait and switch.

If Scarecrow, Croc and Riddler aren't in this, I'm just going to accept this is WB's way of cashing in publicity of the Suicide Squad so they can set up a live action movie.

So much for the storyline actually being based off the arkham series.

LOL good effort Gusto, although I'm pretty sure we're not going to see anything GL until Justice League (attempts to) make the masses forget about Ryan Reynolds.

@YOR
Because that would be a lot more expensive to make. Easier said than done.

@pesmerga44 @KrazyForKomix
Because it's set in the Arkham Universe. And KrazyForKomix, you say WB slaps Batman and Superman on everything. Obviously that's because they are their biggest sellers. But then you throw in Marvel to the mix. I don't know, does slapping Iron Man on everything not equate the same strategy?

Both companies know their money makers. And in the case of DC, they tried Wonder Woman and GL animated movies. They didn't sell well. Batman and Superman does. As a business, the answer there is logical. If customers want other properties, well pay for it when it's out there.

DC should do a live action Suicide Squad film. This is who I would love to see in the lineup, in no particular order.

1. Deadshot: Specialty, Assassin stealth missions.

2. King Shark: Specialty. The muscle, Brute strength.

3. Clock King: Specialty. Hacker, the teams oracle.

4. Rick Flag: Specialty, leader of the team. Over seeing the missions.

5. Plastique: Specialty, Demolitions expert.

6. Bronze Tiger: Specialty, the black guy. Just kidding, expert martial artist. Or Black Spider, the teams stealth expert. Or Cheetah, she has the reflexes of a Cheetah, and stealth/strength/stamina/senses of a Cheetah.

They can introduce them like the expendables. It can have the feeling of a heist movie.

Um...OK. Wow. Where to start.

Great to see a hefty Amanda Waller...but beyond that, the characters faces seem to have NO expression, the little bit of acting we get from The Joker seemed like someone trying REALLY hard to do Mark Hamill (probably less the fault of the actor and more the fault of the VO director), and the sound was really low and most of the words did not sync with their lips.

It's like DC just gave up.

Interesting. You state the "Way-Things-Are" point of view. Not a hard one to articulate (as it IS the way things look).
So to continue with that theme, will you please tell me why MY brand of Vodka is always unavailable? Plenty of Smirnoff Mango flavor; plenty of Smirnoff Blueberry: Cherry; Green Apple; even Marshmellow! Those are always full! But if I want my Smirnoff Citrus (a NORMAL F'N flavor by the way) it's gone!
Now at what point do the retailers wake up, see things the "Way-They-Are" and order MORE OF MY BEVERAGE!?!
HUH?
TELL ME THAT!

They can also use Bane for brute strength. They can say he transferred from a prison in Santa Prisca. Or Ragdoll, he can squeeze through anything.

Looks terrible, I may not even watch for free as it taints the glory of Arkham Asylum. Not surprised they found a way to ruin a great thing.

Dc animated has been failing lately but this movie actually looks awesome. It's not going to be deep but it seems like it's going to be an awesome action movie with style and very entertaining without the action. That's all that I'm asking for and I would love to have it. I'm really excited about this so please don't disapoint me DC.

After giving it a lot of thought, my definite team would be

1. Rick Flag

2. Deadshot

3. King Shark

4. Clock King

5. Captain Boomerang

6. Cheetah

With Amanda Waller as the one who gives out the missions.

But if DC wants to use Cheetah in a Wonder Woman film first, then they can use Black Spider in the meantime. The same with Captain Boomerang. If DC wants to use him in a Flash film first, they can use plastique in the meantime. Once Wonder Woman and Flash put Cheetah and Captain Boomerang in jail, they can kill off Black Spider and Plastique to replace them. Also what I love about King Shark is that not only can he cover land but also water. This team reminds me of this scene.

Justice League War & Batman:Son of Batman are really good films. The only thing I didn't like about Son of Batman was that they made Deathstroke look weak.

The animation has also been awful. I don't mean the designs, I mean the animation. The characters move really badly. The trailer makes it look like it has changed so I have my hopes up for that too.

JL: War was pretty good in my opinion. I guess it was at least solid. Son of Batman is one of the worst animated DC movies I've ever seen.
