SMASH CRASH BOOM, what can writers possibly do with this character now, make a blue hulk, gold hulk? He works so well in Avengers or tie ins but on his own, what the army are still chasing him? They should do an injustice style parallel universe where hulk loses it and takes over, revealing Banner had gained total control and just wanted to rule the universe after years of mental torment maybe key people dying

marvel comics now has the biggest group of poor comic artist, alan davis art is not great but its better than most of the artist that marvel is now using. just look at captain marvel books, just bad. marvel tries to cover up the poor art work by having one of the few talented artist do the covers of the books to trick the buyer into thinking thats the quality of the entire book. i dont know whats going on with management but there was a time when all of marvels comics had excellent art work. now i pick the books up look inside , if the art work is not at least a B+ i pass on it and save my $4.00 bucks.

Forget this! I'm holding out for The Uncanny Hulk!

Sarcasm aside . . .

@ lexxust
Davis is EASILY one of the top comic artist of all time. You make a list of the greatest 100 – he'll be there.

You guys are pathetic, and tiny. Every single comic article, you guys diss the art. Why even look at or buy comics then? This art is amazing, how anyone can bash it is beyond me. Like KrazyForKomix said, Davis is one of the greatest of all time.

I've always been a fan of Alan Davis. I think I may like his work a bit better when inked by Paul Neary. The guy has got a excellent grip on anatomy and composition and his linework is solid. He can also produce a book on time.

Hell yeah dude!!! Every single article I read, no matter what, has everybody complaining about the content!
But its like, seriously? YOURE STILL HUGE COMIC FANS!

YOU KEEP COMING BACK!

I just think the internet has made them so hard to impress. Even though you all still really love this stuff.

And the thing I hate the most, as a fan you would think I'd want to meet all of you because we could relate to the things we love,nbut honestly I would HATE to meet any of you! Freaking complainers,man.

@ScRipt69
I must say, as a huge Hulk fan (and I've always been) there are DEFINITELY more compelling stories to be told that center around the Hulk. What needs to be understood first is that I really started enjoying the Hulk most during the Peter David years. Delving into the psychology of the Hulk was always such an awesome idea because it DID go much further than just smashing things. After that run, I kind of left comics for a while(almost 20 years) and came back due to some titles with more adult content(Y:The Last Man, Walking Dead). When I re-visited Hulk, it was Planet Hulk that sucked be in. GREAT story. As I looked for more material after World War Hulk and found the Red Hulk storyline, I agree, I was disappointed. Cartoony art, different colored Hulks, let alone WAY too many of them, and a disappointing conclusion would turn most people off. Bottom line is, there is so much more to the character past, present, and future. Obviously the Banner/Hulk relationship is the key. Check out how they used the character in Indestructible Hulk and more recently the new Hulk title. Really cool way to go with the character and a great first issue. It's those two where the next films will most likely come from as well

After WW Hulk, the character just reverted to his staleness.
