if they did fail but i really dont know much about GL but if they did change costumes could someone tell me when this started.

This is set in an alternate universe, so they decided to throw some ads for the movie in there in the form of costumes and sets. I do highly recommend this book though, it's very well written.

I actually really like the way the movie costumes work in the comics. If I was DC I would look into making it more permanent or stretching it out some to gauge audience response.
