First Look At LexCorp Building/Logo From BATMAN V. SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

We've just received our first look at the exterior of the LexCorp building where Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will be shooting later this week. We've also received an update on that Superman costume bust we saw a few weeks ago and it turns out it's not at all what we expected. Check it out!

A few days ago, news broke that the production team for Zack Snyder's Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice would be heading to LexCorp in a few days, and now we have our first look at the exterior of the building thanks to the University of M.U.S.C.L.E. & Batman News. The giant X is assumed to be the LexCorp logo that will be used in the film. Check it out below:

We also have an update concerning the Superman suit bust we saw a few weeks ago. It turns out that is not Superman's new costume, it is in fact a giant statue, here's a description:

"It’s not the new suit. It’s huge. Maybe 15 feet tall. Maybe more? It is standing on some steps that have been constructed. They look like the types of steps in front of a government building. They are concrete-ish in color. There isn’t a background, so I assume this will be green-screened and dropped into some other shot. It really looks like a large statue."

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will feature:
Director: Zack Snyder
Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman
Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman
Amy Adams as Lois Lane
Laurence Fishburne as Perry White
Diane Lane as Martha Kent
Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor
Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth
Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg
Holly Hunter in an unspecified role
Callan Mulvey in an unspecified role
Tao Okamoto in an unspecified role

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is expected to hit theaters May 6, 2016

Yeah, I hope it's somewhere else, maybe Star Labs.

Maybe it's the place where they're keeping Doomsday?

ThePeoplesChamp - Maybe the picture we see is the headquarters and your picture is just a building LexCorp owns. If LexCorp is a huge corporation it should probably own several buildings throughout cities and even countries.

what statue?

It's probably the entrance of the building, and the rest of the building will be CGI'd in.

It's very interesting, it looks like they built a statue in homage to Superman. I'm glad they will address what some are angry about.

All the easter eggs in MoS are just that, easter eggs.
They didn't know what they were going to do next, so things can change.

With a statue in homage to Superman, they can clearly establish that people consider Superman as their savior, their hero.

"A statue for Superman seems likely considering he saved the entire planet."

Yeah, it's obvious indeed, but unfortunately for some it's not.

Waitwaitwaitwait... So, the guy destroyed half of Metropolis without even trying to save anyone, in a fight with a fellow alien FROM THE SAME PLANET AS HIS, and they're built him a statue??? Sorry, but that's one huge plot development they missed there...

@DIAMONDZ

Nah, people believed that if they handed Superman to Zod, he'd spare the planet.Of course, Zod wasn't going to keep his word, but people don't know that, because Superman escaped -- and, since he escaped, people would assume Zod didn't keep his promise because of that, thus adding yet another thing to blame Superman for. DOn't you see? They're losing such a great opportunity for a whole plot there... It is also something that would make sense, considering Batman is also thrown in in the sequel...

The statue is probably a sarcastic gift from terrorists for saving them the trouble.
Franshu
Franshu - 6/7/2014, 11:42 PM
@DrAtom

Ah, you know he didn't evn try to save people. Sure, he successfully stopped the machine, but he didn't take his fight with Zod out of the city after that, did he? And quite a lot of destruction ensued from that...

@PeoplesChamp Could be the main company this could be "Experiement and Research" division. Or maybe his Dad was running LexCorp, but died during attack so Lex took over and rebranded the company.

This is what is going to be interesting - we have no idea how Superman will be perceived by the people. He may be a hero to the world since the entire Daily Planet saw what he did to save the world & write about it. Then again, there may be a story that people are unsure what to think of him like General Swanwick at the end of MOS.
DrAtom
DrAtom - 6/7/2014, 11:49 PM
@Franshu

I disagree, he saved the earth i think he deserves a statue. He's not responsible for the destruction, Zod and the others are responsible for that and even though he would have taken the fight away of Metropolis Zod would have came back to kill more people he clearly stated that he wanted to kill people. So your complaint is irrelevant.

@Franshu...are you stupid enough to believe that Zod would follow Superman somewhere there were no people when Zod's entire plan was to kill as many humans as possible??? Get real...you obviously aren't smart enough to understand that movie
