The Fassbender fan in me was so pleased with this scene, however McAvoy owned this film.

I thought the movie was amazing, interesting featurette, too.

The score is the only thing that was better with first class IMO...

It's very close but I think DOFP was better in almost very other important reason. Especially the action and set pieces. Does anyone actually remember how shotty some of the cgi was in first class?!?! Like cheap-ps3 graphics then beautiful cinematography. It was very "choppy" when mixing the good cgi with the bad...

DOFP had much better editing too..

Maybe I'm over analyzing but the story was tighter in DOFP as well (ie. better writing). The ancillary characters in DOFP were better fit for the story as well, not just throw in's because "We need to add more mutants besides Charles, Xavier, Beast and Raven"...

Love how these MCU zombies try their very best to discredit DOFP.
It seems that they can't handle the truth that both CAP2 and GOTG under-performed in terms of quality and statistically.

Let just be thankful that the X-men rights never reverted back to Marvel Studios.
If the right goes back to MS its an automatic move... they will include some forced comedy and dancing in every scenes.

Why does it have to be marvel vs. every other CBM they don't make? DOFP was good. Really good. It has a lot of missed opportunities but it's still amazing that we even got what we got.

TWS and GOTG were as well really good with a couple missed marks but over all great.

Case closed bitches.

One of the all-time great CBMs!

@jCamer0n I agree I think X-Men: DOFP is an incredible movie the best this year. And allot of the Marvel Studio fanboys don't like it... and that's fine.

But If Marvel/Disney got X-Men back... It would be action, action, action, and dancing and less focus on telling an amazing story.

@Jcameron-Totally agree, SO happy that X-men are NOT with Marvel. I like the more adult, more serious tone fox strikes with its x-men films...

@Azazel1 Agreed Man, it's better than The Avengers in my opinion.

Agreed. It's surprising to see how many people on this site try to tear this movie down because it's not Marvel Studios. I don't care about any of that. Bryan Singer is a great filmmaker and he gave us not just a great CBM, but an awesome film in general.

My third favorite cbm of all time.

@XMenMarvelFan

It's without a doubt a much better film. Bryan Singer knows how to handle an ensemble cast. He's just a really great director.

I don't know which is the best, X2, First Class, or DOFP. It's almost impossible to choose but I'd pick DOFP by a little bit.

DOFP is a good film. Purists have a problem with the liberties taken but, if you can read a "What If?" or "Elseworlds" and not have a stroke, then you shouldn't be too broken up about a film made for the rest of the cinematic audience (besides comics fans). The same people who trash this film are the same ones who were attempting to trash it and find reasons to condemn it before it was even [frick]ing released. Now, they're just trying to find a way for their jimmies to appear "justified" instead of just "rustled".

Having said that, @jCamer0n, it's amazing how your opinion about trolling changes with the topic. You're fine with it, as long as it's directed AT Marvel so, apparently, you're okay with hypocrisy but amazingly thin-skinned when you're on the receiving end. Maybe you should be a little more honest: You only like bitching when it's directed at Marvel. If Marvel has a success, you're the first person trying to piss on it. Maybe you should spend more time buying "sensitive ass cream" for those tantrums you throw when people do it to films YOU like, instead of taking a bath in your own hypocrisy, every time you contradict yourself. It might also help if you had the balls to go by your usual name, Mantinium.

Agreed @Dingbat Allot of the Marvel Studios fanboys suck. And they are all idiot's go to YouTube and look up the ComicBookCast2 those guy's give Marvel Studio blowjobs on the daily.

Keep in mind i'm not a Marvel Studio hater or Marvel hater. I'm a HUGE Marvel fan, I like them more than DC but i'm NOT a fanboy.

@ElDarkside

I thought I was the only one that felt this way about the CGI! It looked so choppy and bad, I'm glad that DOFP was a HUGE step up compared to First Class, and I'm with you on the story as well. I watched DOFP 3 times, it's so solid. Which is very well for a CBM, it might be the most solid script of a CBM out there, it's just so flawless and crisp it's just a refreshing film to watch.

@oNosferatuZodd I'm aware of ALL the issues with X-Men: DOFP. And the reason I know all the issues is because whenever I say I love this movie. You have someone in the comment section point out a laundry list of things wrong with it.

No movie is perfect. But the thing is.. I just don't care about the issues lol. It does not takeaway my LOVE for the movie.

Lets not fight guys...

Can we all just agree that X-men:DOFP obliterated the MCU fanatics' hope of fixating their most anticipated MCU flicks on top of other CBM?

@jollem

They will never understand that... ;)

All they can do right now is to imitate the guys from CinemaSins.
