Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.

Game of Thrones returns April 12

Agreed @Tainted87, we've seen 'beautiful deaths' plenty. They're gorgeous, bad@$$, & I look forward to see more attached to the next season.

There's no IMAX on Kodiak either, otherwise I'd have a ticket already :)

I have read the first book of game of thrones and I think it is amazing buuuuut Lord of the rings is better to me! I really enjoyed the three books and the hobbit when I was a kid... I have not read the Sylmarilion but Tolkien was great, no disrispect to Mr Martin.

Kudos to the fantasy side of literature!

@LubedUp:
Nope, Tywin, apart from a few emotional tics in the wrong direction is one of the few people with a proper head on their shoulders (a very small list indeed, Tywin, Tyrion, Davos and Varys. Nope Dynaeris is not on it.). I was really rooting for him and Tyrion to band together and get their house in order but alas, his distrust of basically everybody finally caught up with him.

Never thought about this before but the shield (Lion, hear me roar) looks a lot like the official Dutch.
